I have received your letter and enclosures giving details of your 46th Birthday Celebrations, and I felt I wanted to write to you to say I appreciate being kept on your mailing list for 29 years!
It was in the summer of 1982 that my mother and I decided that our windows must be replaced. Your representative suggested our two public rooms and two bedrooms were most in need of replacement. This we did at a cost of £2,400! Not only did this improve the outside appearance of the house but we had a comfortable home with a reduction in fuel bills and also in noise.
In 1987 two kitchen windows were replaced and a new back door was fitted, the only remaining window, the bathroom, having been fitted in 1985. In 1988 a beautiful conservatory was added to the garden and this has given me lots of pleasure. In 2001 the rhones were replaced – incidentally, three large rhones came down during the terrible winter weather and the roofer was astonished that they were intact and he only had to fix new grips!
Your local representative calls from time to time to make sure everything is in order and I am always pleased to see him.
