Over the past thirty years as the leading supplier of quality home improvements in the UK, our series of memorable TV adverts have been a major part of Everest’s identity.
We’ve been taking a trip down memory lane and enjoying the fond memories evoked by the classic adverts we’ve produced over more than 45 years in the business. It’s amazing how we’ve grown – from our early days as a specialist double glazing company to our expansion into one of the UK’s leading Home Improvement companies, supplying the nation with kitchens, conservatories, driveways & patios, garage doors, flat roofs, roofline products and so much more!
Whether you’re eighteen or eighty, chances are you’ll have seen some of our classic ads on your screens over the years. Now, by popular demand, we’ve gathered all of them together onto our dedicated youtube channel.
What’s the first Everest advert you remember? Perhaps it’s one of our classic 80s adverts starring our original spokesman Ted Moult – such as the wind resistance of our double glazed windows being tested by a helicopter landing on the garden lawn, our original visit to Tan Hill Inn, the highest pub in Britain, or Ted’s visit to the top of Blackpool tower – all featuring Everest’s trademark ‘White feather test’.
Or maybe you remember our 90s promo featuring a man trying unsuccessfully to break into his own home through ultra-secure Everest double glazed windows? Or our more recent work with our much loved spokesman, TV star Craig Doyle?
Over the next few weeks we thought it might be fun to revisit some of our most memorable adverts from over the years. So we want to hear from you! Visit our youtube channel and see how many of the classic Everest adverts you remember. Then let us know which adverts evoke the strongest memories, and which you found the most entertaining, by posting on our blog or commenting on our Facebook page. You can forward your favourites to your friends too. We’ll post some of the most popular ads here on the blog soon, and let you vote for the ‘ultimate’ classic Everest advert!
