Customer Service Advisor – Kate Halfacree

“The main reason I work for Everest is that my team has a great work ethic and team morale”

Customer Service Advisor – Kate Halfacree

I have been with the company for four years and, in this time, I have seen many positive changes within the company.

As a Customer Service Advisor at the Coventry Installation Centre, my job consists of booking surveyors to visit customers’ homes to take detailed technical specifications of the products they have purchased.  I also track deliveries from the factories and answer all customer queries.

Why do I work for Everest rather than another company?

There are many reasons why I work for Everest rather than another company.  As well as the usual reasons such as competitive pay, a good company pension, job security and training opportunities, the main reason I work for Everest is that my team has a great work ethic and team morale.

The management team also listens to employees’ concerns, which makes you feel that you’re not just a number!  Hard work really is rewarded in various ways and the company has gone green, which is great as it’s nice to work for a company that’s being kinder to the environment.

What would I say to someone who was considering a career with Everest?

Everest is a great company to work for as your views really are taken into consideration, which doesn’t happen in many companies.  You’re made to feel a part of the success of the company rather than just a worker.
