Communications Specialist – Donna Gantley
I’ve been with the company for nearly three years and I can honestly say that no two weeks are the same as my job is extremely varied. My job is to work out what and how we communicate to all of our employees.
Most of my role is project based, so I get to work with different departments within the company on a range of exciting projects. I develop employee engagement programmes that help give employees the tools they need to make their working environment better.
I am also part of the training team, so I get to visit various locations and provide training for different groups of employees, which I find really rewarding.
Why do I work for Everest rather than another company?
Everest is unlike any other company I have ever worked for as they are not scared to try new things. They are happy to push the boundaries and are not content to stand still. They continuously look to improve on everything they do and are happy to listen to ideas from employees.
Since joining Everest I have been lucky enough to develop new initiatives, one of which I won an award for at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations Pride Awards.
What would I say to someone who was considering a career with Everest?
Not only are they a forward thinking company, the people who work for Everest are really nice. Everest has a real family feel to it and wherever you go in the company you’re made to feel welcome.
