General Sales Advisor – Grant Todd
I have been with Everest for nearly two years and what I like about working for them in Sales is that no two days are ever the same, which keeps my job interesting.
The initial training I received was fantastic, but unlike most companies it didn’t end there as on-going sales training is provided all year around. What is also great is that the training is given by not only my managers, who are from a sales background, but also from technical trainers who have excellent product knowledge and customer service skills.
In my opinion the company is very well structured. If I need support my colleagues and line manager are only a telephone call away, which is really important when you’re out on the road all day.
My day consists of knocking on potential customers’ doors and attending appointments that are set up by the Marketing Team. All in all I make a very good living with Everest and enjoy the better things in life; my hours are flexible and fit around my life and the harder I work the more I earn, which is perfect for me.
Why do I work for Everest rather than another company?
There are several reasons why I chose to work for Everest over other companies. Firstly it is a top branded company and a household name – it’s a company that smaller brands want to be.
As Everest is so well known it makes my job easier - I don’t have to explain who we are as people are already aware of us and what we do.
The company incentives are, in my opinion, the best in the industry, with holidays, cars and cash prizes all up for grabs on a regular basis.
What would you say to someone who was considering a career with Everest?
I would tell them what a fantastic opportunity it is to run your own business but still have the stability of great support in terms of training and customer brand awareness.
When I was offered the job as a sales advisor for the company I never thought I would enjoy it as much as I do. I can honestly say I love my job and am planning on a lengthy future with the company as I could never see myself doing anything but selling Everest products.
