David Stark and his wife live near Plymouth. In the Summer of 2005 they were having some work done on the their bathroom and toilet and decided to get new uPVC windows and double glazing installed in both. We approached Everest because of the good name and reputation it has and so didn’t feel we needed to ask anyone else to come and visit us. Originally we only intended to replace two windows, but after seeing a sample of Everest’s windows we decided to replace the whole lot.”
A surveyor was sent round to assess the Starks’ requirements and they were able to choose the windows they wanted from corner samples brought along by the salesperson. The installation of the windows took placed in September 2005 and according to the Starks they could not have been happier.
“When the new windows were installed,”said Mr Stark, “they looked even better than we had imagined. This was due in no small way to the accurate survey carried out by Everest, the skill of the installers, who worked in such a clean and professional manner, and to the extra embellishments on the sills and around the internal reveals.
“The benefits of having these new windows installed are just as Everest said they would be, and the property is noticeably much warmer and secure. The other benefits we now enjoy are windows which, by their heavier appearance than the wooden ones they replaced, make the property look even more solidly constructed and, also, we have noticed that we sleep better.
“Although our home is situated some 80 metres from the main road, we were previously not that aware of the traffic, but late-night noise must have disturbed our sleep. Now we do not hear that traffic, or, in fact, vehicles that arrive immediately outside the house! We feel safe in a draught-free cocoon and, bearing in mind the amount of painting of wooden windows that had to be done in the past, we wish we had installed Everest double-glazing and window frames years ago.”
