Edwardian conservatories
This stately, yet timeless, design suits Edwardian and contemporary homes alike
A stately age that created superior homes, Edwardian style can be seen all over the UK.
Our Edwardian conservatories combine elegance with maximum floor space, making them a highly popular choice.
They feature the simple, straight lines that were so typical of the Edwardian era and are predominantly square or rectangular, evocative of the inherent strength of both structure and character.
Edwardian era design is characterised by strong, clean lines. It perhaps owes credit to the emergence of Art Nouveau in some of its detailing and more than a nod to Victorian elegance and structure.
Buildings and interiors of the Edwardian era were explicitly designed to achieve the effect of expensive simplicity. Houses generally had wider frontages and were built to accommodate lots of space for sunshine and air. Colours and detailing were lighter than in the preceding Victorian period, instead returning to Georgian style aesthetics of a century earlier.
Like all Everest conservatories, our Edwardian designs are meticulously built to the highest standards to offer superior technical performance and outstanding levels of warmth and security while also reducing noise and maintenance requirements.
