uPVC Casement Window Options

Double and triple glazing

Double or Triple Glazing

Our uPVC casement windows are available with either A+ rated double glazing or industry leading A++ triple glazing, and include internal low-e glass that reflects heat back into your room, to keep your home warmer and help reduce your energy bills.

Window furniture

Window Furniture

A wide range of window furniture is available to match the style of your home. Our standard window handles come in black, gold, silver, chrome or white, whilst the premium 'Monkey Tail' and 'Tear Drop' handle ranges are available in black, gold, graphite and chrome.

Georgian bars

Georgian Bars

Georgian bars are a popular addition and a classic choice for conservation areas. They can either be internal bars between the glass panes for easy cleaning, or external bars on the outside. We believe it's all in the detail so we also add a white gasket to the Georgian bars that blends invisibly into the bar itself.

Smoothweld technology

Smoothweld

Our uPVC casement windows have the option of our Smoothweld technology, which gives you an almost invisible corner joint, with clean, seam-free lines, no deep grooves that might harbour dirt and a beautiful, flawless aesthetic.

Window framing

Window Framing

We offer 2 types of window framing - traditional and contemporary. Traditional makes your frames match on both sides, giving it a symmetrical design, and contemporary allows the glass panes and window openings to vary in size.

Window glass options

Glass

It doesn't stop at double or triple glazing - there's also a range of glass types to suit your needs. Everything from obscure glass, which is perfect for bathrooms and offices, to decorative glass with a range of coloured, leaded and bevelled designs.

A wide array of colour combinations to choose from on uPVC casement windows

Our windows are available in a beautiful range of colours including uPVC woodgrain finishes, which look like real wood but without any of the maintenance issues. The single colour frames are the same colour inside and outside. Whereas on dual colour options, the frame is either white or white woodgrain inside with a second shade on the exterior, in keeping with both the character of your property and inside décor.

Market-Leading Energy Efficiency

With the introduction of our new casement windows, we are offering superior energy efficiency, market-leading U-values and a drive towards sustainability not widely available in the UK.

As the Future Homes Standards are introduced, the energy efficiency of a home and U-values for windows will become more important.  Everest double glazed and triple glazed casement windows have an ultra-low U-value. The frame is made with recycled uPVC and the window can be recycled at the end of life to reduce the impact on the environment.

By choosing Everest casement windows now, we will help you to future-proof your home with the best products for energy efficiency and the environment:

  • 0.80 U-value achieving the proposed Future Homes Standard

Why Choose Everest uPVC Windows?

Energy Efficiency & Sustainability

When you choose Everest, not only do you make your home warmer and reduce your energy bills, but you also reduce your CO₂ emissions by consuming less energy to heat your home. We strive for an environmentally friendly manufacturing process and our new windows can be recycled at end of life to reduce the impact on the environment. We are committed to superior energy efficiency, market-leading U-values and a drive towards sustainability that has not been widely-available in the UK.

Quality Is in The Details

We source the best components and pay attention to the details that make the difference. Our window frames have almost invisible corner welds and superior weather tight seals. An extreme multi-point locking system for enhanced security that meets PAS 24:2022 and Secured By Design standards. And a trickle vent which has been acoustically tested to show an improvement of noise reduction from our previous vent.

Safe and secure

Guaranteed for peace of mind

Our uPVC casement windows carry a lifetime guarantee on the sealed unit against fog, condensation and discolouration. We also guarantee the workings of the window for 10 years.

Commonly Asked Questions

  • +
    What does uPVC stand for?

uPVC stands for Unplasticised Poly Vinyl Chloride. Also known as vinyl, it is rigid, durable and long lasting material used in the construction industry. Typically, uPVC is used for making pipes and windows, due to its maintenance free properties.

  • +
How long do uPVC windows last?

You should expect uPVC windows to last a minimum of 20 years, but with maintenance and varying factors, some windows can have a much longer life than expected.

Window typeHow long they lastEverest guarantee
Double glazed units25 yearsLifetime for condensation and fog
uPVC windows20-25 yearsLifetime for discolouration (white uPVC)
Aluminium windows45 years25 years for the profile
Hardwood timber windows50 years30 years against rot of the profile

The quality of window frame products varies dramatically between manufacturers and installers. Cheap uPVC will warp and discolour long before a quality uPVC frame would. If frames are not fitted properly, they can be prone to water ingress, damp and draughts that will speed up deterioration.

  • +
    How secure are uPVC windows?

Can shutters be fitted to uPVC windows?

Shutters can be fitted to uPVC windows in the same way as that for timber frames as these are normally fitted to the internal fabric of the building rather than directly to the window frames. We'd advise a specialist company to ensure that correct clearances from handles and to hinges to enable easy opening of the windows for ventilation.

  • +
Can I fit uPVC windows in a conservation area?

If you live in a conservation area, you need to check with your local planning office about limitations for window replacement. There may be a note in your Deeds about any restrictions.

Usually, in a conservation area, any changes to the fabric of the building have to be made like-for-like. And that will include materials.

If you currently have timber sash windows, you have to replace with timber sash windows.

Not all local planning offices follow the same rule, so always check to find out what you can and can't do.

How much do uPVC windows cost?

A white uPVC casement window is the most economical option, costing between £600 to £1,800 depending on size, glazing design and how many are being replaced in the property. However, these are average guide price ranges and not a definitive cost to replace windows in your home.
