Meet the team in London

John Goldsmith

One of our longest-serving consultants, John first joined Everest in 1978. Before that, he was with the merchant navy. Nowadays it's the four corners of our Richmond territory that he ventures forth to from his home in Kingston-upon-Thames, including Acton, Ealing, Hounslow, Barnes and Putney. As you would expect, his knowledge of everything Everest is comprehensive, so if you've got your eye on a nice timber, uPVC or aluminium door or window, or some replacement roof trim or a new driveway or garage door, then John could be the one to ask for.

Kirandeep Kaur Mudhar

Kirandeep once backpacked in South America for a year and is also keen on air rifle shooting, so there was never going to be much that fazed her in whatever she did. As it happens, she joined Everest in 2016 and is equally adept at finding the right doors or windows for her many customers as she is with roof trim (guttering, soffits and so forth), garage doors or flat roofs. She lives in West London and her customers are based in and around here too, in locations such as Ealing, Feltham, Hampton and Isleworth.

Majid Hatamieh

Majid has been Everest for around 20 years and lists his interests as ‘everything and nothing' but believe us, there's nothing, that he doesn't know about Everest products - and when it comes to selling, he's sold everything we make, and very successfully. Hailing from Kingston-on-Thames, he's your go-to person for windows, doors, roofline and flat roofs, there and throughout the South-West London area. He also likes running and cycling, and for such a nice, mild-mannered person, he has a surprising choice of favourite film - Pulp Fiction!

Nima Ashtari-Larki

Nima has now been with us for over ten years, having joined in 2006. He's very hard-working, even by Everest standards, which means that on any given day he's likely to be found in South West London, Surrey or Berkshire meeting customers. He also knows all there is to know about all of our most popular home improvements, including uPVC, aluminium and timber doors and windows, as well as roof trim, alarm systems, garage doors, flat roofs, artificial grass and secondary glazing. Outside of work, he's a keen photographer.

Stevan Toronyi-Lalic

His favourite book is Think Like a Billionaire, and in an earlier life, Stevan was an art dealer, but nowadays he serves up gems from the Everest collection that are guaranteed to make your home look as pretty as any portrait. An Everest veteran of 35 years or more, Stevan can be found across South and West London, painting a picture of how the right improvements really can transform your home, whether it's with our advanced windows with frames made from uPVC, timber or aluminium, or any of our entrance, bi-fold, patio, stable or French doors.

Paul Warnham

A conservatories specialist, Paul has been with Everest since 1998. He lives in Chipstead, while his numerous customers are in places as far apart as Croydon, Horsham, Epsom and Bromley. As befits someone who has been with us for 20 years or so, Paul isn't just committed to listening to his customers, but adept at helping them choose the right bespoke conservatory, orangery, tiled roof or glass extension for their property. And if you already have a conservatory, Paul knows how something as straightforward as a replacement roof can make a world of difference.

Frederick Clarke

A Michael Jackson fan and keen dancer (he's won prizes in disco dancing), Fred's favourite song is Billy Jean, and when it comes to selling he moonwalks his way across Bromley, Beckenham, Purley, Croydon and South London generally, where he specialises in conservatories. He's been with Everest for around 20 years (which by our standards doesn't nearly make him the oldest swinger in town). His home town is Warlingham, and if you've an eye on a flexible new year-round living space in the shape of one of our conservatories, Fred is your man.

Bernard Pearson

One of Bernard's most challenging but rewarding experiences was learning Japanese, together with his daughter. You could ask him to do his presentation in the language if he comes round, but on second thoughts it's probably best to stick to plain English, something at which he excels when extolling the merits of all of our many different windows, doors and other products. The proof of this is his many satisfied customers in places like Bromley, Orpington, Thamesmead, Eltham and Plumstead. He's been with Everest since 1995.

Derek Newman

An Everest veteran, having joined us in 1990, Derek lives in New Eltham and covers all of South East London and North Kent, including places such as Bexley, Dartford, Sidcup and Bromley. His favourite product is windows, and whether they're made from uPVC, timber or aluminium, are sash, casement or tilt & turn, he knows all the advantages of each and what goes best with all the different kinds of properties in his region. Outside of work his five dogs keep him busy walking, but he also likes football and skiing.

David Eden

David's favourite film is Scarface, and he's also been on TV in the past, but is too shy or modest to say in what exactly. But if you live in somewhere like Clapham, Tooting, Beckenham, Bromley or Eltham and make an appointment to see him, he might just come clean. What he certainly will do is tell you all about finding the right home improvement products for your property, whether it's a nice entrance door made of timber, uPVC, aluminium or composite materials, or a new window or two in the same materials. He's been with Everest since 1999.

David Morpurgo

David is a relative of Michael Morpurgo, the man who wrote War Horse, but for his favourite film, he opts for The Last Picture Show, which gave actors Jeff Bridges and Cybill Shepherd their big breaks. David covers all of South London, including Bromley, Thornton Heath, Brockley and Lewisham, as well as near his home in Kenton. Areas such as these tend to be densely populated and can have strict local planning regulations, but David knows exactly what will work where, whether it's windows, doors, roof trim or flat roofs. He's been with Everest since 2013.

Jacques Xavier Beecher

Jacques comes from Croydon, but when it comes to where most of his customers are from, it's all the ‘Bs' - Beckenham, Bromley, Balham and Battersea. Mind you, he's also as busy as a bee in Streatham and other parts of South London too. A big sports fan, he's been with Everest since 2012, while his favourite film is the 1990s Brad Pitt drama, Legends of the Fall. Jacques handles all of our core products, including roofline, flat roofs, garage doors, driveways and artificial grass, as well as our ever-popular doors and windows.

Leon Thompson

Leon lives in Orpington, and it's here and in Lewisham, Blackheath, Orpington, Plumstead and Catford that you're likely to find him at customer appointments or knocking on doors. All of our core products are in Leon's line of business, including uPVC, timber and aluminium windows, plus doors in all of the same materials as well as composite designs. He also specialises in flat roofs and roof trim products such as gutters, soffits and fascias. Leon has been with Everest since 2008 and is a man who believes in being the best that he can..

Raymond Eden

Raymond once lived in Australia for five years, but decided a country like that had little need for his true calling, selling home improvement products to keep the weather out, and so came to back to the UK, joining Everest in 2003. Whether it's uPVC windows or composite doors, or indeed anything else from the wide Everest range, Steve will do the job brilliantly of explaining all the options and finding out what's best for you. Just ask his many happy customers in places like Cobham, Esher, Leatherhead, Croydon and Sanderstead.

Adam Freeman

Adam lives in Hampstead and covers all areas of North London, including Finchley, Hendon, Highgate, Islington and Hornsey, plus the Home Counties. He's been with Everest since 2009 and outside work enjoys skiing and walking his miniature daschunds (we assume he doesn't attempt both activities at the same time). He handles all of our most popular products, including conservatories and replacement roofs, roof trim, security systems, artificial grass, porches and flat roofs, plus windows and doors, of course.

Gatis Bukovskis

Gatis lives in London, travelling to places such as Colindale, Hendon, Hampstead, Palmers Green and Finchley to meet his many customers. He's been with us since 2011 and his favourite film is the Tom Hanks picture Castaway. The good news is that when it comes to home improvements Gatis is very far from all at sea, and can talk knowledgeably about anything from dual turn, casement or sash windows to stable, patio, French or entrance doors. He also knows his barge boards from his soffits (they're parts of roof trim, in case you were wondering).

Martyn Turner

North London is Martyn's home, and also his ‘manor', with customers typically in places such as Kentish Town, Wood Green and Islington. He claims to be “Always open to learning despite possessing a multitude of T-shirts”, which we never realised could hold you back - in fact some of them have quite educational slogans! Martyn is clearly well-read too, his favourite book being All Quiet on the Western Front. A real Everest veteran, he's been with us since 1981, so there's not a lot he doesn't know about our entrance doors, replacement windows or anything else.

Paul Nero

Living in Enfield, Paul has been with Everest since 2003. His patch includes locations such as High Barnet, Muswell Hill, Winchmore Hill, Hadley Wood and New Barnet. Outside of work he enjoys reading, while his favourite film is The Sound of Music. He looks after all of our core products, including casement and sash windows, entrance doors, stable doors and patio doors, plus secondary glazing, flat roofs, artificial grass, driveways and security systems, not to mention secondary glazing and roof trim products such as guttering and fascias.

Sofronis Sofroniou

Roni lives in the Capital, covering all of North London and into Hertfordshire, including High Wycombe, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead and Radlett. He's a keen backgammon player, even playing in competitions, but also collects stamps and enjoys history. He's been with Everest since 2007, so knows a fair bit about the history of our products, but is right up to date when it comes to our most advanced double and triple glazing, not to mention uPVC doors, flat roofs, garage doors, security systems and all of our other core products.

Edward Garvin Watts

Ed joined us in 2016 and is originally from South Africa, but these days has made his home in Ashford. He looks after pretty much all of Kent, right up to South-East London, including places such as Dartford, Gillingham, Sidcup, Dover and Broadstairs. He can explain all the various plus points of pretty much all of our products, including flat roofs, garage doors, roof trim, driveways and Greener Grass, our unique artificial lawn, plus windows and doors of all shapes and types, of course. A Sean Connery fan, his favourite film is The Hunt for Red October.

Stephen Hackney

All through Kent and much of South East London, Stephen can be found demonstrating Everest core products, including bi-fold doors, entrance doors, patio doors and windows of all kinds, although ‘Mighty Maidstone' itself is his kind of town. That said, he lives in West Malling and is also a black belt kickboxer. He's also at the top of the game when it comes to selling, regularly earning prizes from us and plaudits from customers, despite ‘only' being with Everest since 2009. His favourite film genre is comedy, and he loves the movie Step Brothers.

John Wells

John has been with Everest for 30 years now, looking after North East London and beyond. He lives in Hoxton, but his ‘manor' includes Leyton, Leytonstone, Walthamstow, Wanstead and Romford. One feature of areas like these is all the traffic, which means not just dirt and pollution, but noise, especially at peak periods - so he appreciates just what a difference Everest windows in particular can make when it comes to keeping the warmth in and noise out. His favourite film is the comedy classic Bad Santa.

Jean Claude Lebon

Jean claims to look younger than he actually is - maybe that's down to his continental heritage (or Gallic charm?). Given that his favourite film is Scarface we have to assume that whatever else he looks like, it's not the eponymous hero of that film! But when it comes to good looking, there's not much that's more attractive than an Everest conservatory, unless it's one of our advanced entrance doors, and Jean is well-placed to tell you the merits of all of them, along with all of our other products. He's been with Everest since early 2014.

Mark Heyward

Living in South Ockenden, Mark is a keen swimmer and Arsenal supporter (but we won't hold that against him). His many happy customers hail from places such as Upminster, Hornchurch, Rainham, Romford and Dagenham, and he actually covers any postcode beginning in RM, IG or E. His favourite film is Rocky, and like that boxing superstar he never gives up. So there's many a customer who's gone on from purchasing a Mark 1 window (as it were) to asking him to call again and opted for a Mark II door, then some Mark III roofline and so on.

Marcelle Salkey

Born in Jamaica, Marcelle came to the UK in 1966. Today he lives in Forest Gate, and many of his customers are in North and East London as well, including Hackney, Tottenham, Tilbury, The Isle of Dogs and Woodford. His favourite song is One Love by Shane, and he's been with Everest since 2012. It's worth asking for Marcelle if you're considering buying just about any of our core products, from uPVC windows to flat roofs, driveways, roof trim and doors of any shape or description, made from composite materials, timber, aluminium or uPVC.

Pardip Javl

Pardip went to the same school as ex-England footballer and now commentator Tony Cottee, although is more of a snooker or pool man himself. He lives in Ilford, and has many customers here, as well as in Upminster, Romford, Seven Kings and Walthamstow. He's responsible for all of our best-known home improvement products, including entrance, patio, stable, French and stable doors, plus dual turn, tilt & turn, sash and casement windows. He can also tell you about artificial grass, security systems and flat roofs.

Richard Amies

A champion seller of all our products, Richard is your go-to man if you live in Romford, East Ham, Ilford, Woodford Green or Chingford, although his home town is Baldock. He's been with Everest since 2009 and since then has sold everything from timber and casement windows to composite and uPVC doors, with plenty of roofline, flat roofs and even conservatories along the way. His favourite song is The Perfect Year by Dina Carroll and he was once the Under 18 British Archery Champion, although these days he prefers the smaller ‘arrows'.
