Meet the team in Midlands

Michael Shirley

Michael is one of our top consultants. His patch is wide-ranging, covering Sheffield, Lincoln, Nottingham, Chesterfield and Rotherham, and he has many happy customers who are now the proud owners of Everest conservatories, doors, flat roofs, windows and much else besides. He’s also into fitness training, while his favourite song is Adele’s Someone Like You. So if you live in one of those cities and you’re in the market for some home improvements, someone like you could be perfect for someone like him!

Mark Tatlow

Hailing from Solihull, Mark specialises in selling all of our core products, but particularly likes windows, including casement and sash in both uPVC and timber, as well as secondary glazing for properties where you have to, or prefer to, keep your existing windows. He adores skiing and being outside generally - perhaps that’s why his favourite movie is The Great Escape! His customers come from places such as Solihull, Stratford Upon Avon, Stourbridge, Wellsbourne and, of course, Birmingham, and he’s been with Everest since 2003.

Mario Turner

Mario has been with Everest for over 30 years, since 1984. He sells all the main Everest products, including aluminium, composite, timber and uPVC doors, as well as windows of all kinds, including sash, casement, tilt & turn and many more, as well as secondary glazing. The areas he covers include Macclesfield, Congleton, Holmes Chapel and Knutsford, while outside work he likes to watch Manchester United. His favourite film is Gladiator, and if it’s great products at a great price you want, he’ll definitely give you his maximus!

Oliver Rowell

From roofline in Rugby to windows in Warwick via doors, flat roofs and alarm systems in Lutterworth and Hinckley, Oliver has been extolling the products of Everest for well over 35 years, a real long-server even by our own impressive standards. That means that there is nothing that he doesn’t know about what would be best for your home, and he has numerous repeat customers across the region to prove it. Outside of work, Oliver likes to spend quality time with his family, while his favourite TV shows are on Sky channels.

Chris Etridge

Chris lives in Knypersley near Stoke-on-Trent and specialises in the full range of our products, including flat roofs, windows, doors and roofline, as well as conservatories, whether you’re looking for a brand new one or just a replacement roof. He’s a chilled-out kind of guy and is great at putting customers at their ease in places as far apart as Stafford, Market Drayton and Northwich, as well as Stoke. Definitely a man for speed, his all-time great movie is Top Gun, while he also has an eye for nice cars. He’s been with us since 2010.

Jason Crouch

One of the most beautiful areas in all Britain, David’s territory is also one of the largest. From his home in Fort William, he meets customers as far afield as Roybridge in Inverness-shire, Strontian, Mallaig and the Isle of Skye. All our products are popular in these districts, with Everest double and triple glazing going down particularly well, while many rural properties opt for our composite stable doors. Outside work, David enjoys going to live music. He’s now been with Everest for getting on for ten years and we hope he stays for many more.

Pawan Verma

Hailing from Smethwick, Parvan’s customers tend to be in or around Birmingham, as well as Coventry, Bromsgrove and Redditch. He’s very good on all of the technical aspects of Everest products, but can also explain what makes our windows and doors so special, from the materials and technology we use to the security and environmental standards we meet. If you’re in the market for a brand new conservatory or simply a replacement roof, some roof trim or an alarm system, or just about anything in fact, Pawan can help.

John Gale

After time in the army, John signed up for Everest back in 2006. He lives in the lovely small town of Henley-in-Arden in Warwickshire, although most of his customers tend to be in places such as Stratford-upon-Avon, Stourbridge, Solihull, King’s Norton and Birmingham. Despite his history on the front line, John is definitely a softie at heart as his favourite film is My Girl. You can talk to him about all of our core range of products, including casement, sash, tilt & turn or dual turn windows, as well as entrance, bi-fold, patio, French and stable doors.

Stephen James Ireland

A Middlewich man, Stephen also has numerous satisfied customers in towns such as Alderley Edge, Wilmslow, Knutsford, Lymm and Goostrey. He likes a bit of history and has in-depth knowledge of Cheshire’s heritage, which is useful when it comes to knowing what window or door designs look best and are permitted under local regulations. He’s been with Everest for over 10 years and his favourite book is The Bible. He can also knock the spots off his opponents when it comes to dominoes, having been a champion at the sport in the past.

Stephen Reeves

Stephen apparently once owned a car that he never drove, but he’s making up for that now, clocking up the miles going to see customers in places as far from his native Stoke as Lichfield, Rugeley, Stafford and Ashbourne. He loves talking about any of our core products, but has a particular soft spot for windows, whether casement, sash or tilt and turn, and whether fashioned from uPVC, aluminium or timber. He’s been with Everest for over 10 years now, and his favourite movie is the Scorsese classic Goodfellas.

Neil Stanfield

Neil has been with Everest since 2014. In a previous life he claims to have been responsible for launching Pot Noodles to the World. We’re not sure whether he means in terms of inventing, marketing or just throwing them a long way, but Neil is clearly a man of talent. His region is one of the few in the UK that exports more than it imports – not a lot of people know that, but if you live in Wellingborough, Towcester, Oakham, Rushden or Northampton and need any of our home improvements, it’s certainly worth getting to know Neil.

Paul New

From his home in Gloucester, Paul drives to his many customers in places like Cheltenham, Malvern, Tetbury and Cirencester. Well we assume he drives, but given that he collects vintage Lambrettas we’re not 100% sure – so if a guy on a vintage scooter turns up to talk to you about our latest windows and doors, it may just be Paul. He also specialises in our other key products such as roof trim, patios, secondary glazing, artificial grass, alarm systems and flat roofs. His favourite film is The Green Mile and he joined the company in 2016.

Ben Hicks

Ben lives in Inkberrow, Worcestershire, often thought to be the model for Ambridge in The Archers. Joining us in 2016, he has customers in Stratford-upon-Avon, Kidderminster, Redditch, Solihull and Birmingham, which apparently has more regional districts than any other European city, along with more canals than Venice. So if you live in any of those districts, or elsewhere in the region, and are after some new windows or doors, why not ask for Ben? Outside of work, he’s a keen motorcyclist, while his favourite film is Gladiator.

Paul Woods

Currently based in Ilkeston, Paul has lived in the area all his life, so knows the mix of property types really well. He joined Everest in 2016 and looks after our complete product range, including conservatories and replacement conservatory roofs, as well as windows, flat roofs, driveways, doors, artificial grass and roof trim. He also ranges far and wide when it comes to meeting customers, and can be found anywhere from Derby to West Bridgeford, Barrow upon Trent, Kirkby in Ashfield and Bonsall, near Matlock. His favourite film is The Jungle Book.

Russell Eden

Russell’s favourite album is PMJ is for Lovers – a Valentine’s collection from Postmodernjukebox.com – but his other claim to fame, according to him, is that he was the first person in the UK to empty his McDonalds fries into the burger box lid. Hmmm…we’re not sure if the Guinness Book of Records has been notified about that one, but we do know that he’s very good with all of our core products such as replacement doors and windows. Russell joined us in 2016 and lives in Stourbridge, covering places such as Brierley Hill and Dudley.

Jermaine Graham

Jermaine lives in Handsworth and covers areas in and around Birmingham, including Nuneaton, Bromsgrove, Cannock and Coventry. He’s been with Everest since 2016 and is qualified to handle all of our key ranges, including bi-fold, patio, French, stable and entrance doors, plus dual turn, sash, tilt & turn and casement windows, as well as roofline, driveways, garage doors, flat roofs and more. He’s also been a semi-professional boxing champion and is a father of five. His favourite book meanwhile is Rich Dad, Poor Dad.
