What is Okotherm®?
Okotherm® is unique to Kuppersbusch ovens. During cooking the Okotherm® cooking system removes grease and odours from the air within the oven resulting in a cleaner oven. Food also tastes better because the air within the oven stays moist helping to prevent food drying out.

I’d like a dishwasher but my kitchen is very small?
Having a small kitchen needn’t be an issue, smaller 45cm wide dishwashers are available (larger dishwashers are normally 60cm wide). These dishwashers are still very efficient and can wash up to 10 place settings.

How does an induction hob work?
Induction hobs work by heating the pan rather than the hob. The heat is created by an electromagnetic field so only the metal pan gets hot. And you don’t need special pans, as long as your pans have a ferrous metal base they will work. You can test this by using a fridge magnet, if the fridge magnet sticks to the base of the pan, then the pan will work on an induction hob

Why does it take 4 weeks to get my kitchen delivered?
Because all our kitchens are made to order it does take time to create your perfect kitchen. Nothing is just taken off the shelf. All our cabinets are constructed as rigid units, glued and dowelled for extra stability and durability.

I have a particular colour in my kitchen that I want to match – what colour door options do you offer?
Our painted doors are available in three standard colours, soft white, buttermilk and soft blue, but they are also available in any Dulux colour, offering you almost limitless colour options.

I see you offer Kuppersbusch and Teka appliances, why have I never heard of them?
Kuppersbusch/Teka is a long established German owned company, manufacturing a wide range of the latest hi tech kitchen appliances, as used by many professional chefs. In addition all Kuppesbusch/Teka products have a 5 year parts and labour guarantee as standard.

Do you offer Corian worktops?
Yes we do offer Corian worktops. Corian offers a modern and functional worktop solution, with virtually invisible joints and a smooth satin like finish they are highly resistant to staining, easy to clean and very hygienic. Corian sinks are also available, these can be seamlessly integrated into the Corian worktop to create the ultimate one piece worktop and sink.

Do you offer building work?
Yes we can carry out all types of building works in connection with the kitchen, however extensive structural work may require additional surveys and may be costed separately.

I would like my new kitchen to be as ‘green’ as possible. What products would you recommend?
When choosing new kitchen appliances you should look for the highest energy ratings. The majority of new built-in kitchen appliances are ‘A’ rated. Some fridge freezers are even ‘A+’ rated. Induction hobs may cost slightly more to buy but they are nearly 80% more energy efficient than gas hobs. Steaming hot taps reduce the need to boil kettles – saving energy and water, as you only boil the water you need. Built-in combi bins also help by allowing you to sort your kitchen waste and make recycling easier.

No, at Everest we offer the full service of plan, design, full technical survey and installation conforming to all the latest regulations, backed by industry leading guarantees.

What happens to my old kitchen?
Will we dispose of your old kitchen including any electrical appliances. These are sorted out and where appropriate, recycled in line with the latest regulations

All our kitchens are supplied as rigid units, expertly assembled in the factory using glue and dowels for extra rigidity and durability.

It is impossible to say how much an Everest kitchen will cost as each kitchen is unique, designed to an individual customer’s requirements. It will depend on the style and design of the kitchen and the appliances and worktops chosen.
