From 1st August 2007, anyone selling a property with four or more bedrooms will have to present prospective buyers with an Energy Performance Certificate, which will rank homes on energy efficiency, as part of the new compulsory Home Information Pack for sellers.
But energy efficiency is not just something that those selling large properties should be aware of. The energy efficiency of your home determines how big your energy bills are, affects the amount of energy consumed and therefore also impacts on the environment.
|
Everest’s own research shows that three in every four home buyers consider energy efficiency to be an important aspect of buying a new property, so the energy efficiency of your home could affect the price you receive for your home when you come to sell it. With all this in mind Everest has recently launched its first “A-rated” windows, which reduce heat loss and improve solar heat gain.

To improve the energy efficiency of your home, Everest has some great discounts on offer to help you prepare for the introduction of Energy Performance Certificates without spending a fortune - request an appointment online for a free no obligation quote. Your comprehensive guide to energy efficiency

Everest has produced a free, comprehensive online guide to energy efficiency, which explains what is and isn’t covered in an Energy Performance Certificate and provides top tips on making your home as energy efficient as possible. Whether you want a whole revamp or just some handy hints, the guide will point you in the right direction.

Everest premium windows achieve the highest 'A-rated' window energy rating and help homeowners save on energy bills and fossil fuels. All Everest uPVC windows employ low-emissivity glass, which helps to keep your home cool in the summer and warm in the winter by reducing
heat transfer and ultraviolet (UV) rays that can fade carpets, walls and furniture. |
 |
Getting ready for summer.

As the weather improves, we’re starting to open up our windows, let in the fresh air and spending more and more time in the
garden. Everest’s comprehensive range of natural stone and concrete patios, including sandstone, slate, limestone, travertine and granite, will enable to enjoy your outdoor area in style and give
you the perfect setting to enjoy a summer barbecue.
Unique and interesting patterns provide the opportunity to add a personal touch to your Everest patio with circular, squared or octagonal designs. There is plenty of scope for creative design flair by combining materials with patterns and other special features.
