How it works
- Everest will install a series of panels on an un-shaded section of your roof, usually southerly facing.
- Each panel is made up of several cells made from layers of semi-conducting material. When light hits the cells, it creates an electric field across the layers.
- This electric current is converted into AC electricity by an inverter and used to power your home. The brighter the light, the more electricity is produced.
- If more electricity is generated than your home requires, the excess is automatically fed into the national grid which earns you an additional income.
