Glass is what windows are all about – and Everest offers the most complete choice of glass types available in the UK today.
We have a glass option to suit every situation and every purpose. What’s more, you can mix and match at will to achieve an optimum specification that exactly meets your unique needs.
We use toughened safety glass as standard for all of our full-height window panels and all windows within 80cm of the floor. But you can also specify it throughout your home. This means that in the very unlikely event of something being powerful enough to break the glazing, the glass will simply shatter into small, virtually harmless fragments.
We use our special Everest Heatlok low emission double glazed sealed units as standard. However, you are also able to select a number of other glass options:
Everest Heatlok
This glazing is highly energy efficient, reflecting heat in summer and retaining it in winter to keep you cosy and your heating bills down.
Everest Heatlok Plus
If you live in a particularly cold or exposed area, you can still sit by your windows all year round with Heatlok Plus.
Everest Obscure
A choice of patterned glass options lets all the light in, but keeps prying eyes out.
Everest Anti Sun
The sun’s rays bounce off this specially treated glazing, reducing glare and keeping the inside temperature at a comfortable level.
Everest Solar Control
This highly energy efficient glass has an attractive blue tint that reduces UV penetration and glare, keeping your home cooler in the summer and protecting furniture and fittings from fading.
Everest Self Cleaning Glass
The special outer coating of this glazing reacts with natural weather conditions to break down and wash away dirt – without ‘droplet’ marks.
Everest Security and Security Plus
You want to feel safe in your home and our Security glazing gives you ultimate confidence. An additional plastic laminate between 2 layers of glass means that this glass is almost impossible to break through.
Everest Pattern Glass
Choose from a variety of patterns to complement your own taste and style.
A range of additional effects for your new Everest windows will add
even more character to your home. These include authentic Georgian bars, leaded lights, bevelled glass and a range of matching windowboards and window furniture. Optional trickle vents are also available to let in fresh air.
