Everest receives the BSI Kitemark award for the 33rd year in a row
If you want some reassurance that choosing Everest for your home improvements was a safe investment, look no further. Everest has just been granted the Long Service Award from BSI (British Standards Institution) for its aluminium window Kitemark, which was awarded on January 24th 1983 and has now been held for 33 years.
In addition to this Kitemark, Everest holds 7 other BSI Kitemarks for products from guttering and downpipes to window and door security. The collection of Kitemarks including the oldest aluminium window Kitemark awarded in 1983 and granted annually ever since, strongly places Everest within an elite club of some of the world’s most prestigious companies and brands. To sustain these Kitemarks, Everest products are regularly tested against security, operational and weather performance criteria so that customers can have peace of mind that our products continue to be of top quality and safety.
Owned and operated by the BSI since 1903, the Kitemark was originally employed to identify products that exemplified the highest of standards and is now considered an impressive accreditation, recognised as a service excellence certification mark for items such as crash helmets and smoke alarms. In more recent years, BSI has developed a multitude of Kitemark schemes that cover an assortment of modern services, some of which include window installation, garage services, furniture removal and electrical installation work.
