Warranty Information

You may be aware that due to extreme financial pressure that occurred as a direct result of the COVID-19 related suspension of operations, Everest Limited went into administration on June 8th 2020 and that entity is no longer operational. This means that Everest 2020 Limited cannot honour guarantee claims that you would normally have expected to have been completed by Everest Limited.

We want to do all we can to help these customers, so we have set out below a number of ways that you may be able to get your issue resolved.

Some issues can be easily solved without needing to call anybody out. There is lots of information and help on common issues in our troubleshooting self-help section including video tutorials, which can be found here. This will be the quickest and easiest way to solve straightforward issues.

We are now able to offer a chargeable service option in certain circumstances, for customers who don’t have an active guarantee with Everest 2020 Ltd. In some cases, it may be possible to arrange for one of our service partners to attend. There is a non-refundable fee of £125 for an initial visit to assess the problem that you are having. If the issue cannot be resolved on the initial visit, or parts are required you will be offered a no-obligation quote for the additional parts and work.

If you would like to see if a chargeable service visit is possible, please complete the online form here. Your issue will be reviewed and you will then be contacted within 24 hours (excluding weekends) by a member of the Everest 2020 team to advise if a chargeable service visit is possible. If it is, they will take your payment of £125 and confirm next steps.

If that isn’t the right solution for you, you will be advised of any other ways that may help you. For example, you may instead be able to make a claim under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act if you paid for your installation by credit card or under finance arranged through Everest Limited. If the installation was paid (or part-paid) by one of these methods, simply contact your Finance or Credit provider to discuss further how they can assist. Alternatively, you may have an unsecured claim against Everest Limited (in Administration). A proof of debt form can be requested elenquiries@frpadvisory.com.

If you didn’t use a credit card or pay by finance, you may be able to make a claim under a guarantee insurance policy, if you have a valid policy in place. Fill in the online form here and if we cannot help you in any other way, you will be provided with details of how to make an insurance claim.
