The all new Everest TV advertisement
Do you recall Ted Moult and the old Everest TV commercials? Maybe the best was at Tan Hill Inn, Britain's highest pub.
We went back recently to the Tan Hill Inn - which has lots of memorabilia of Ted Moult and Everest - to shoot our latest commercial. And naturally to check how the windows we installed so long ago are doing.
In the old ad a feather and Ted Moult memorably demonstrated Everest double glazing. You saw the feather floating serenely inside the window pane - completely unaffected by the wind outside. People were really impressed - and that old Everest ad helped make Everest the industry leaders.
In the new commercial you see the old Tan Hill Inn TV commercial with Ted Moult and the feather, but this time Craig Doyle tells the story. He shows one of our new solar panels, making the point that today Everest home improvements mean so much more than double glazing.
As Craig Doyle says, "Now, be honest, you didn't expect Everest to be doing all this, did you?" But the one thing first said by Ted Moult has never changed: "Fit the best".
It really doesn't matter what kind of home improvements you want. It could be "a-rated" energy efficient windows or Solar Water Heating, as featured in the commercial. Maybe an Everest conservatory, or one of our kitchens could catch your fancy. Today Everest do all kinds of home improvements. Doors, patios, driveway, security systems, garage doors - even a new roofline or flat roof - no matter what our constant aim at Everest is to fit the best.
As Ted Moult pointed out all those years ago in the Tan Hill Inn, you don't do these things often, so why not do them right – and we hope you think that's true of this new Everest ad in Britain's highest pub - with Craig Doyle.
