Important Information about entering into a finance agreement
If you would like to use a finance product to spread the cost of your purchase (excluding the deposit), your Field Sales Consultant can obtain a quotation for you. If you would then like to proceed, you can apply quickly and conveniently online for an immediate decision. Neither the Field Sales Consultant nor the business receives a commission payment, incentive, or any other benefit on the sale of consumer finance agreements. We offer a consumer finance product only so that customers have the option to choose from a range of payment methods.
If you choose to finance your purchase (excluding deposit) using a credit facility we have introduced you to and your application is accepted, you will then be entering a second, separate agreement, between you and the lender. This is a finance agreement only and will be subject to the lender's own terms of business which will be provided to you.
All orders regardless of the chosen method of payment, are subject to a minimum deposit of 10% and up to a maximum deposit of 20% of the contract value being paid. Deposits cannot form part of the finance agreement and must be paid in full when the purchase agreement is signed. Deposits are payable by secure online link, secure text-to-pay link, or can be taken on a secure telephone line. Everest doesn't accept deposit payments by cash or cheque.
You can choose how long you would like to have your finance agreement set up. This will usually be for either 36, 60, 120, or 180 months with a minimum monthly payment paid by direct debit each month. The first payment would typically be deducted around one month after your installation is completed.
Your finance agreement is flexible meaning you can control the term of the loan and the total interest you pay. You can do this by increasing your monthly payments and also by making additional lump sum payments. This can reduce the overall amount of interest paid and reduce the term of the loan.
Cancelling the finance agreement and/or cancelling your Everest order
If you decide not to go ahead with the finance agreement, you have a cooling off period of 14 days from the date of having the application accepted, in which to do so. Please note, however, that this is to cancel the finance agreement only and not your purchase order with Everest 2020 Ltd or Everest Conservatories Ltd.
If you withdraw from your credit agreement with the lender this will affect the terms and conditions of your contract with Everest. Your contract will become a direct payment order and you will be required to pay the balance of 85% of the contract value, plus the cost of any non-goods (asbestos removal, building works, access equipment, etc), due before the order enters manufacture. The remaining 15% is payable on the last day of installation.
If you wish to cancel your finance agreement, you must contact the lender directly:
If you wish to withdraw from the contract with Everest you have a 7-day cooling off period (starting from the day on which you sign your Purchase Agreement). Note this is less than the 14-day cooling-off period provided for the finance product.
If you wish to cancel your Everest agreement you must contact Everest directly by completing the following form www.everest.co.uk/contact/cancellations or by calling us on 01707 933680.
Full details on when deposits are refundable or non-refundable can be found in our cancellations policy www.everest.co.uk/contact/cancellations-policy and also in the terms and conditions of your purchase agreement.
If you have any questions about our cancellation policy, your Field Sales Consultant will be happy to answer these during your sales appointment. For any questions after this time, please refer to the above link or call 01707 933680. Phone lines are open Monday – Friday 9 am – 5 pm.
