Meet the team in the South

Luke Mudd

Luke’s favourite film is the graphic fantasy The Crow, but if it’s the reality of beautiful home improvements you want, he could be just the fellow to make an appointment with. He handles all of our main products, including doors, windows, roofline and garage doors, across areas as far apart as Colchester, Southend, Maldon, Chelmsford and Witham. He’s been with Everest for around seven years, and is the only person in his family with green eyes, while outside work he loves nothing more than donning his leathers and roaring off on his motorbike.

David Coleman

Some of you may remember David’s famous namesake, the much-loved sports commentator famous for his gaffes. Well, our David is certainly much loved by those that know him, but he’s rarely put a foot wrong in over 20 years with Everest when it comes to helping customers to get just the right improvements for their home. Whether it’s conservatories in Tunbridge Wells, new doors in Sevenoaks, timber windows in Tonbridge, roofline in Tenterden or garage doors in Maidstone, David does the business. When relaxing, he enjoys watching Transformers.

Richard Deane

Hailing from Little Clacton, Richard acts as a consultant in places as far apart (in all kinds of ways) as Frinton-on-Sea, Harwich, Chelmsford, Colchester and Clacton on Sea, where he can tell you all you need to know about a beautiful new conservatory, a new composite or timber door, casement windows or anything else. His favourite film is Memphis Belle and he’s been with Everest for around ten years. He’s also a whizz at board games, so if you haven’t a cluedo what would be best for your home, Richard has the monopoly on all the right options!

Eddie Gleeson

Awarded one of our ‘Top Salesman’ spots a few years ago, Eddie hails from Harpenden and is a real Everest veteran of over 25 years’ service. He knows everything there is to know about all Everest products, and is just as happy selling conservatories in St Albans as windows in Watford or doors in Berkhampstead. Outside work, his favourite film is Gladiator, and he also enjoys painting pictures. So if you would like him to come and improve the landscape of your home in some way, he’s ready and waiting for your appointment.

Robert Bassett

Robert has been with Everest since 1991, and with over 25 years’ service claims not to have time for anything at all outside his work! Whether that’s true or not, it certainly means he’s a consultant who gives 100% to his job and his customers. He lives in Caterham and is often to be found selling his favourite windows to homeowners in Coulsdon, Epsom, Weybridge, Leatherhead and Purley – or indeed travelling around the M25 to get there. But ask nicely and he’s just as likely to have the perfect door or other product for your property.

Michael Maccariello

With an Italian father, a Polish mother and a German wife, Michael is nothing if not a man of the world. But his relaxed manner and all-round knowledge make him a favourite with customers as far apart as Bedford, Bishops Stortford, Knebworth, Enfield and Welwyn Garden City, where he sells all of our core products such as windows and doors, as well as driveways. But he likes to get away too, often flying to new and interesting places. Perhaps that’s one reason why his favourite book is The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. He’s been with Everest since 2009.

James Robb

His home town is Ruislip, and James has great knowledge across all our core products, including double and triple glazing and doors of all shapes and sizes. Many of his customers are in the St Albans area, but he also covers North London down to places such as Finchley. His main claim to fame is that he used to be in a band with Labour’s Alan Johnson. Mind you, they can’t have been that good, as James says his hobby now, is ‘learning guitar’! He’s been an Everest stalwart since 2003, and his favourite song is Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here.

Phillip Hunt

Philip is celebrating his silver anniversary with Everest round about now and loves living on the coast, in Bexhill-on-Sea. He actually built part of his own house, so he knows just the sorts of challenges there can be when it comes to home improvements. His customers are based in places like Hastings, Brighton, Hove and Shoreham, and he’s in just the right place for his favourite hobby of sea rowing. Mind you, with all that Channel shipping to dodge, his love of James Bond films might stand him in good stead!

Steve Rumsby

His home town is Claygate in Surrey, and Steve covers towns such as Windsor, Ascot, Crowthorne, Bagshot and Woking. He claims to be able to speak a few words in many languages, but if you’re looking for advanced windows, doors, roofline, flat roofs or alarm systems, he’ll be able to give you the full story in English. He’s been with Everest since 1999 and when he’s not meeting customers, he likes to go skiing. As for songs, it’s over to Elvis and If I can Dream – and if you have a dream for transforming your home, Steve could be the man to make it come true.

Raymond Eden

Raymond once lived in Australia for five years, but decided a country like that had little need for his true calling, selling home improvement products to keep the weather out, and so came to back to the UK, joining Everest in 2003. Whether it’s uPVC windows or composite doors, or indeed anything else from the wide Everest range, Steve will do the job brilliantly of explaining all the options and finding out what’s best for you. Just ask his many happy customers in places like Cobham, Esher, Leatherhead, Croydon and Sanderstead.

Martin King

An Isle of Wight resident for 12 years or more, Martin has contacts in the planning office there, which can be useful when advising on home improvements to listed buildings or in conservation areas. His customers are from all over the Isle, including Newport, Shalfleet, Porchfield, Ryde and Sandown. Doors, driveways, roofline, flat roofs, windows – there’s nothing he can’t help you with. He likes all sports and has played golf with Nick Faldo, while Martin’s favourite book is Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. He’s been a consultant for Everest since 2009.

Thomas Bernard Myland

Living in St Albans itself, Thomas also looks after towns such as Watford, Hatfield, Harpenden and Potters Bar, as well as other areas in North London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. He’s been with Everest since 2009, and his favourite book/TV series is The Far Pavilions, the story of the British Raj. He once had an chat with the Queen, but whether the topic of conversation included flat roofs, doors, windows, fascias, gutters or any of our other home improvements that he has encyclopaedic knowledge of, we’ll never know!

Patrick Rudden

Patrick is a big science fiction fan, and when it comes to what to read or watch - The Stand is his choice. But when talking about Everest windows, doors, roofline or anything else, he’s much more factual and down-to-earth. With 40 years of experience with Everest, believe us, it’s countless happy customers that you associate with him, not horror stories! If you happen to live in Eastbourne, Bexhill, Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge or Hawkshurst, then Patrick could be just the man to find the right home improvements for you.

Ivan Amos

He lives in Littlehampton, and it’s here and in places such as Worthing, Lewes, Brighton and villages such as Ferring that you’ll find Ivan. He’s been with Everest for getting on for 20 years and is also a big DIY fan, which means you have two big advantages if you talk to him. One is his in-depth knowledge of all of our products, from windows and doors to roof trim, driveways and flat roofs. The other is that he’ll know just what design and material will look best in your home, whether it’s timber, composite, aluminium, uPVC or anything else.

Robert Stewart

Robert has been with Everest since 1997. With his long experience and friendly approach, most customers give him top marks for effort and knowledge. You’ll also be able to learn just what’s likely to work best in your home, whether it’s different window styles like casement, sash or tilt & turn, or our traditional or contemporary doors. His customers are in place such as Worthing, Storrington, Littlehampton, Rustington and Goring. As for his favourite book series, it’s high fantasy all the way: The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant by Steven Donaldson.

Junaid Mussa

Junaid loves to travel and meet people, which is just as well as his customers could be anywhere from Thames Ditton and Tadworth to Epsom, Coulsdon and Croydon, as well as in his home location of Streatham in South London, and he also covers all other areas of the Home Counties. He’s been with Everest since 2009, specialising in all our main products, including roofline, doors, flat roofs, windows and garage doors, so if you’re pondering a purchase of one or two of these, why not ask for Junaid. His favourite film is The Last of the Mohicans.

Terence Browne

Despite living well to the south of the Capital, in Croydon, Terence Browne’s heart lies in North London, and Arsenal FC. Most of the time though, he stays south of the river, meeting customers in places such as Sanderstead, Warlingham, Purley, Selsdon and Croydon itself. As for entertainment, Shogun is his favourite, but we’re not sure if he means the book or the TV miniseries. What we do know is that he’s certainly comprehensive when it comes to products, handling Everest replacement windows, doors, conservatories, and much else besides.

Robert Soper

As well as his home town of Coulsdon, Robert has many happy customers in Croydon, Ashtead, Chessington and Banstead, as well as elsewhere in Surrey and to the south of London. He’s responsible for all of our main products, including entrance, bi-fold, patio, French and stable doors, as well as casement, sash, tilt & turn and dual turn windows. If you’re in the market for a new driveway or security system, he’s well qualified to tell you about the various merits of those as well, having been with Everest for well over 10 years.

Malcolm Differ

We asked Malcolm for an interesting fact about himself and his answer was ‘Getting old’! Well, he’s certainly not old to us, and in fact compared to a few of our consultants, he’s practically a youngster having ‘only’ been with us since 1983! What is beyond doubt is that he’s supremely well qualified to tell you all the ins and outs of our conservatories, not to mention tiled roof extensions, glass extensions and orangeries. Many of Malcolm’s customers live on or near the coast, in towns such as Poole, Christchurch, Totton, Lymington and Brockenhurst.

Ashley Mark Scarborough

When it comes to travel, Ashley has a taste for the unusual, having once visited Colombia. However, he’s much more likely these days to be in places closer to his home in Horsham, such as Dorking, Redhill, Reigate and Worthing. His favourite film is pretty much unbeatable in the comedy stakes – Some Like It Hot. As for products, Ashley is well placed to talk about any of our mainstream products, including everything from entrance doors to new windows, as well as roof trim, driveways and flat roofs. He has been with Everest since 2010.

David Andreas Sakkas

David has been with Everest for over 10 years and was once an international tenpin bowler. Mind you, these days his strike rate of getting satisfied customer is just as high, and they can be found in places as diverse as Southampton, Winchester, Eastleigh, Fareham and Alresford. His favourite record is Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys, and if you want to pick up some ‘good vibrations’ about any of our windows, doors, driveways, alarm systems, flat roofs or roof trim, then David is just the man to deliver them.

Grace Cahalane

Ours is something of a male-dominated industry, but a professional female eye is just as good when it comes to knowing what looks best and where. Grace also bows to no man in her in-depth knowledge of all of our home improvement products, from doors and windows to conservatories and flat roofs. Mind you, she shares her favourite film with quite a number of the guys – The Shawshank Redemption. She lives in London, although her customers are more commonly found in Southampton, Winchester, Petersfield, Alton and Fareham.

Rakeem Matthew Young

Rakeem’s customers live in cities, towns and villages across West Sussex and Hampshire for the most part, including Chichester (where he lives), Portsmouth, Selsey, West Wittering and Emsworth. He’s been with Everest since 2012 and is clearly a man of style and taste as his favourite film/book is The Great Gatsby, while he admits to being obsessed with clothes. The good news is that he likes to fit the best as well as look his best, and that includes all of our many product ranges, including conservatories, roof trim, driveways, alarm systems, doors and windows.

David Marjoram

In his previous career, David was an engineer, which means he has excellent understanding of which of our home improvements products would work best in your home and why, and can answer any technical questions which you might have. He lives in Guildford, and many of his customers live there and in Godalming, Billingshurst, Farnham and Camberley. David handles all of our mainstream products, including roofline and flat roofs, along with windows and doors. Outside of work, his favourite films/books are the Jason Bourne series.

Stephen Carter

The beautiful South Coast is where you’ll generally find Stephen, including places such as Bognor Regis and his home city of Southampton, but he also covers inland areas such as Fareham, Waterlooville and Alton. He’s been with Everest since 2008 and like us and our products is committed to continuous improvement. That means whether you’re in the market for uPVC, timber or aluminium windows, or doors in the same materials (plus composite designs), Stephen will make sure that what he recommends is right for you. His favourite film is Aliens.

David Wade

Now here’s a man with an interesting back-story – David originally came from Odessa in the Ukraine and was an officer in the Ukrainian navy. David joined Everest in 2013 and we’re very glad he did, as there’s no-one nicer or more professional. His customers live from Oxford and Abingdon to Witney, Burford and Dorchester, as well as the beautiful Cotswold towns and villages of this part of England. He’s responsible for all our products, including conservatories and orangeries, as well as replacement windows, doors and everything else.

Martin Frost

A Hove man, Martin also covers adjoining Brighton, as well as Littlehampton, Worthing and Seaford, plus the many pretty villages across the South Downs. This area is Britain’s newest National Park, which means that there are strict planning regulations when it comes to things like doors and windows – sometimes secondary glazing is the best option for the latter in a conservation area such as this. Martin is well versed in all of these, as well as what’s allowed and what looks best when it comes to flat roofs, replacement roof trim and other products.

Paul Warnham

A conservatories specialist, Paul has been with Everest since 1998. He lives in Chipstead, while his numerous customers are in places as far apart as Croydon, Horsham, Epsom and Bromley. As befits someone who has been with us for 20 years or so, Paul isn’t just committed to listening to his customers, but adept at helping them choose the right bespoke conservatory, orangery, tiled roof or glass extension for their property. And if you already have a conservatory, Paul knows how something as straightforward as a replacement roof can make a world of difference.

Matthew Gaskin

Matthew has now been with Everest for well over 10 years, and is responsible for all of our main home improvement products. These include uPVC, timber, aluminium and composite doors, plus timber, uPVC and aluminium windows, as well as roof trim, plus flat roofs, patios, driveways and security systems. A big fan of that modern classic The Shawshank Redemption, Matthew lives in Sandy. He also has a twin. His numerous customers are from all over the region, including places such as Baldock, Stevenage, Luton and St Albans.

Nigel Foote

Nigel has been with us since 2015 and looks after all of our main products. That includes casement, sash, tilt & turn and dual turn windows, as well as secondary glazing (the latter particularly important in this region, which is often subject to strict planning regulations). He’s also responsible for doors of all kinds, whether made from composite materials, uPVC, aluminium or timber. As well as the many attractive villages and hamlets in Sussex, Nigel covers towns such as Brighton, Haywards Heath, Crawley, Seaford and Worthing.

Darren Woods

Darren lives in Tiptree itself, but also looks after all the main cities and towns of the region, including Colchester, Ipswich and Chelmsford. A real Everest veteran, he’s been with us for well over 25 years, coming on board in 1991. He handles all of our main products, including roofline (roof trim items such as soffits, fascias and guttering), flat roofs, patios, driveways, artificial grass and alarm systems. Plus, of course, all of our best-selling doors and windows, as well as secondary glazing. His favourite film series is that old favourite, Indiana Jones.

Glen Freeman

Glen has lived in Swindon for six years, and it’s from here that many of his customers come, along with beautiful Thames Valley towns such as Newbury, Wantage, Hungerford and Faringdon. He likes to keep chickens, so play your cards right and he might give you a free-range egg or two when he comes calling. That and some expert advice on any of our core products such as sash and casement windows, or entrance, bi-fold, patio, French or stable doors in composite, timber, uPVC or aluminium. He’s been with us since 2016.

Kelvin Clarke

Kelvin comes from Holwell, and his many customers live in and around the area, including in Hitchin, Luton, Hertford and Welwyn Garden City. When he’s not in these neighbourhoods, he may well be abroad – he’s lucky enough to have a house on the west coast of Barbados, overlooking the holiday home belonging to Gary Lineker. He specialises in all of our main products, especially our most popular uPVC, timber and aluminium windows, and uPVC, composite, aluminium and timber doors. He joined Everest in 2016.

Sean Mudhar

Sean lives in London and covers pretty much all of the capital and areas immediately to the south and west, including Staines, Surbiton, Ealing and Ashford. He joined us in 2016 and before that used to play football semi-professionally. These days he hits the back of the net every time when it comes to highlighting all the advantages of our core products, including bi-fold, patio, French, stable and entrance doors, as well as sash, tilt & turn, dual turn and casement windows, plus roofline, flat roofs and more, as well as conservatories.

Michael Champion

Michael has been an Everest consultant since 2009 and comes from Ashford. It’s here and in other Sussex and Kent towns such as Hastings, Tonbridge and Sevenoaks that his many customers can generally be found. He’s well-versed in all of our key products, including garage doors, driveways, patios, porches, artificial grass and roof trim (guttering, fascias and so on). His favourite film, meanwhile, just happens to be the choice of more of our consultants than any other – The Shawshank Redemption.

Brian Willoughby

Perhaps the two most significant dates in Brian’s life have been 1983 and 1981. The former was when he joined Everest, which makes him 30-year plus veteran. The latter was when his daughter Holly was born – yes, the Holly Willoughby! Brian lives in Brighton and his customers to be found here as well as in Worthing, Burgess Hill, Hassocks and Henfield, or in the towns and villages near the beautiful South Coast. He can tell you all there is to know about all of our products, from windows and doors through to conservatories.

Timothy O'Leary

From his home in Trowbridge, Timothy covers towns such as Glastonbury, Yate, Bath, Bradford on Avon, Cippenham, Chipping Sodbury and Swindon. His favourite book is Diary of a Naked Salesman, but don’t worry, he’s not going to turn up in his birthday suit on your doorstep and try and sell you something! It’s actually a proper business book, and Timothy is 100% serious when it comes to helping you choose the right windows, doors or other products. He’s been with Everest since 2010, and outside work loves watching rugby.

Ed Watts

Ed joined us in 2016 and is originally from South Africa, but these days has made his home in Ashford. He looks after pretty much all of Kent, right up to South-East London, including places such as Dartford, Gillingham, Sidcup, Dover and Broadstairs. He can explain all the various plus points of pretty much all of our products, including flat roofs, garage doors, roof trim, driveways and Greener Grass, our unique artificial lawn, plus windows and doors of all shapes and types, of course. A Sean Connery fan, his favourite film is The Hunt for Red October.

Ray Mcdonald

Ray hails from Hailsham but covers all of the South-East area, with its lovely mix of countryside and seaside towns. So his customers are often to be found in Eastbourne, St Leonards, Seaford, Tunbridge Wells and all places in-between. Ray came to Everest in 2007 and specialises in all of our main products, including replacement windows and doors, flat roofs, roofline, patios, driveways and garage doors. He also believes in always being positive, so if you’re in the market for some home improvement products, we’re positive he’ll be pleased to see you!

Matthew Cox

Matthew has lived and worked in the village of Old Basing since 1962. From here he ran his own engineering businesses for many years, before joining Everest in 2012. His background means that he has excellent technical knowledge, which comes in useful when knowing whether to recommend aluminium, uPVC or timber for your new doors or windows. He can assist with conservatories, orangeries, replacement roofs, patios, driveways and roof trim. His customers are from all over the region, including Andover, Reading, Basingstoke, Fleet and Wokingham.

Pamela Shimell

Pamela lives in St Margaret’s Bay, which is where many of her customers also reside, as well as in towns like Dover, Hythe, Margate, Deal and Canterbury. She’s now been with Everest for well over 20 years, and before that was a management consultant specialising in environmental risk. This often comes in useful when dealing with our windows, doors or other products, as she knows exactly which ones offer the most benefits when it comes to the environment and energy efficiency (not to mention durability, security and so on).

Mark Fegredo

Mark has always resided in Sussex, and adores the area he lives in and works in. His current home is in Horsham, and from here he goes to meet customers in places such as Crawley, Redhill, Brighton and Shoreham. Prior to joining us in 2016 he did a lot travelling, and once sang karaoke to hundreds of kids in a remote Philippine village! Nowadays he mostly sticks to singing the praises of our products, and from windows and doors to secondary glazing and roof trim he always hits the right note. His favourite film is The Shawshank Redemption.

Shalinder Teji

Shalinder’s favourite TV series is the Unusual Suspects, but when it comes to the products he specialises in, it’s definitely the usual suspects – French, bi-fold, patio, stable and entrance doors, plus dual turn, tilt & turn, casement and sash windows, plus other key lines such as flat roofs, garage doors and roof trim. He lives in Bedford, while his customers are typically from places like St Albans, Wheathampstead, High Wycombe, Uxbridge and Hayes. Outside of work he’s a keen runner, and also trains other runners to compete in marathons.

Christopher Ward

Christopher’s favourite film is the western Dances with Wolves, and as a West Bromwich Albion fan living down in Surrey, he knows what it means to venture beyond the frontier into unknown territory! He’s been with Everest since 2012, and from his home in Epsom, meets customers right across the county and beyond, in towns such as Purely, Walton-on-Thames and Esher. He’s responsible for all of our leading products, including uPVC, aluminium, timber and composite doors, as well as windows, driveways, patios, porches and roof trim.

Simon Martin

Simon lives in Wincanton. He says that his main claim to fame is that he is or was ‘Officially the most boring bloke in the world, as voted for in Q magazine.’ Be that as it may, he’s definitely far from boring when it comes to imparting all the different merits of our products – yes, even our artificial grass will grow on you after hearing Simon talking about it! He’s also responsible for doors, windows, flat roofs and much more. He’s definitely doing something right as he has many satisfied customers across Poole, Shaftesbury, Salisbury, Yeovil and Chard.

Billy Thompson

One of Billy’s claims to fame is that he’s met most of the Royal Family. We’re not sure in what capacity, although given that Windsor Castle is not far from his Bracknell home, and he does have customers in Windsor itself, perhaps he drops in for a cup of tea with them every now and then. Why not make an appointment to see Billy and ask him? Better still, get him to talk to you about any of our best-known products, including windows, doors, secondary glazing, flat roofs or anything else. Billy joined us in 2016.

Andrew Denning

Andrew’s favourite film is the fantasy crime thriller The Green Mile and he lives in Epsom, not far from the famous racecourse. It’s also true to say that he goes the extra mile for his customers, who live in towns such as Croydon, Mitcham, Caterham and Carshalton, as well as Epsom itself. He certainly walks tall when it comes to knowing just what home improvements to recommend, especially windows, which are something of a speciality of his, although he’s just as up to speed with flat roofs, patios, driveways and front doors.

Paul Smee

Paul covers places in Berkshire, Surrey and Hampshire such as Woking, Frimley and Windsor, and lives in Sandhurst but his main claim to fame couldn’t be further away from what you might expect from a home counties guy like him – he once had curry with Bob Marley and the Wailers. He handles all of our core best-sellers, including entrance, bi-fold, patio, French and stable doors, plus dual turn, casement, sash and tilt & turn windows. His favourite film is The Wolf of Wall Street and he’s been with Everest since 2016.

Jonathan Sterne

Jonathan’s favourite show is Les Miserables and he lists his main talent as ‘still breathing’, which may sound a bit miserable in itself, but don’t worry, he’s actually both cheerful and helpful, and will sort you out with just the right home improvements for your property. That includes doors, windows, flat roofs, patios and plenty more besides. Jonathan lives in Gosport, while his customers are in places such as Hayling Island, Alton, Emsworth, Southampton and Fareham. He’s now been with Everest for well over 10 years.

Mark Bishop

Mark joined Everest in 2016 and looks after all of our core range. This includes roof trim, patios, garage doors, driveways, artificial grass, flat roofs and our ever-popular replacement windows and doors, plus secondary glazing. He lives in St Albans and covers Watford, Hatfield, Hemel Hempstead and Beaconsfield, as well as the many attractive villages in this area. He says that his favourite films are the Rocky series, but only up to Rocky IV, which puts him in agreement with the critics. Like the hero of those films, he says that ‘I don’t like to lose’!

John Cottee

One of John’s claims to fame is that he’s done a firewalk – twice. Either he’s made of Teflon or he’s strong-minded (and perhaps a bit nuts!). He’s a technical training manager for our consultants, and an expert in conservatories of all kinds. So he knows exactly what style and material will work best for your home, so you never have to worry about getting your fingers (or toes) burned with John. He lives in Hornchurch and looks after towns such as Enfield, Brighton, Upminster and Romford. He joined Everest in 2016.

Customer reviews in the South
