Doors Options

Some of our popular door options

  • Georgian bars

Retaining the original style and features of an older property doesn’t mean there isn’t a modern, low-maintenance solution. Everest Doors offer many modern benefits but can still include traditional features so they look like they’ve been there from the day your home was built.

Georgian bars add a touch of period authenticity whether you choose traditional timber or a modern material like uPVC. The Georgian bars can be placed across, up and down the frame in any proportion you choose, while the bars and edges can be smooth or classically contoured.

Creating the effect of a cottage door is the perfect choice for adding individual style to your home. This versatile design can be adapted for any area of your home, and because all our doors are made-to-measure they can easily be tailored to your exact specifications.

Whichever configuration you choose, you can be reassured that all Everest Doors are double-glazed and fully sealed to keep your home warm, quiet and draught-free. We use advanced glass technology and superior insulation to reduce heat loss, making your home more energy efficient.

As well as helping you to save energy and money, our doors give you a long-lasting solution and come with a 10-year guarantee on craftsmanship and materials and installation. Our timber doors come with a 5 year guarantee on paint and stain finishes and 30 year guarantee against rot and fungus.

If you choose uPVC, they come with a lifetime guarantee against fog and condensation in the double-glazed sealed units. And because uPVC doors won’t flake, rot, fade or rust, our white finish comes with a lifetime guarantee against discolouration.

  • Triple Glazing

For many years, double glazing has been the UK’s glass of choice to keep homes as warm and energy efficient as possible, and is a popular glazing type in many doors. But choosing our newer triple glazing option can improve your home’s energy efficiency by as much as 35%, compared to standard double glazing.

Colder countries like Scandinavia and Canada have had triple glazing as a building standard for decades. But as the UK isn’t struck by the same levels of extreme winter weather, triple glazing is still a relatively new concept this side of the water.

However, as energy prices continue to increase, it is vital that we find new ways of making our homes as energy efficient as possible. We know insulating other areas of your home like the windows, roof, walls and floor can help, but neglecting your doors can result in a gap in the warm layer of protection.

Everest Triple Glazing is designed to provide better thermal insulation than other doors; keeping your home warmer and saving you money on heating bills.

But better heat retention isn’t the only benefit Everest Triple Glazed Doors can provide. They also provide an extra layer of security, keeping potential intruders exactly where they belong, outside in the cold.
