Accreditations & Certificates

As one of the UK's leading home improvement companies, we set higher standards, as standard. Our accreditations and product certificates speak for themselves, so you can have confidence in our products and service

BSI

The British Standards Institute (BSI) is the National Standards Body of the UK. We’re proud to certify to ISO 9001 – the world’s most recognised quality management standard and hold 10 Kitemark certifications for meeting exceptional quality and safety standards.

FENSA

The Fenestration Self Assessment Scheme (FENSA) is the largest scheme for installers that are trusted by Local Authorities, industry and Government and was founded in 2002. FENSA cover replacement window and door installations in England & Wales. FENSA Scotland was founded in 2021, covering replacement window and door installations in Scotland. FENSA does not cover installations on The Isle of Man.

Benefits of FENSA certification:

  • Confirms compliance with building regulations
  • Shows your installation’s energy efficient
  • Ensures it’s registered with the Local Council
  • Verifies your installer’s guarantee is insured
  • Essential when selling the property

What’s Covered:

FENSA covers the replacement of external windows, doors, roof windows and roof lights in homes in England, Wales & Scotland against the relevant Building Regulations. Note that the property must be sited on its original footprint, and the use and size of rooms mustn’t be altered.

What’s Not Covered:

FENSA doesn’t cover the installation of windows and doors in new conservatories, porches, new builds, new extensions, repairs (where frame not included) and commercial properties. FENSA don’t cover any other products that Everest offers and they also don’t cover any installations on The Isle of Man.

GGF

Everest is a proud member of the GGF who has represented the window and door industry since 1977 and is recognised by the UK government for its in-house technical expertise, technical training and advocacy department which helps influence key government stakeholders on future legislation.

For Everest, this offers us a range of opportunities from technical insight, understanding of current and planned regulatory changes and the opportunity for the business to have a say on the future of the industry. Moreover, membership is recognised as a mark of credibility and standing in the industry and we are choosing to play a role in shaping and supporting the industry for future generations. Finally, it provides a complaint procedure of last resort offering customers an opportunity to gain a further line of enquiry should they believe our complaints procedure has let them down – which is explained in our complaints process.
