What is a flush casement window?

The beautiful flush casement design gives the exterior of your window a flush appearance. The opening window closes flush into the outer frame, so it sits in line with the face of the frame, rather than standing proud, meaning there's no visible lip when looking at your window from outside. Everest flush casement windows also feature a Smoothweld almost invisible joint on the frame corners. The result is an attractive, aesthetically pleasing appearance that gives your home a modern look similar to the contemporary, slim styling of aluminium windows. Flush casement windows are becoming increasingly popular, due to their neat clean lines and flat finish.

What is the difference between casement and flush casement windows?

The main difference between flush casement windows and casement windows is a regular casement window is 'lipped', with the openable parts protruding from the frame, whereas flush casement windows sit completely flush inside the frame when closed. At Everest, we offer modern flush casement windows and traditional chamfered casement windows.

Modern flush casement profile

Modern Flush

Our five-chamber flush casement window combines Smoothweld almost invisible joints with a new window design. Creating a style that mirrors the contemporary look of aluminium when finished in Anthracite. Grey Cedar offers a traditional timber design feel.

Traditional chamfered uPVC casement window profile

Traditional Storm Chamfered

The outward opening exterior of our Chamfered window style stands proud of the face of the window frame replicating the look of putty around the glazing on traditional timber windows. The neat, bevelled contours complement every style of home.

Flush casement window benefits

Energy-efficient modern flush windows

With Everest flush double glazed windows energy efficiency and thermal retention are exceptionally high, achieving an A+ window energy rating and a u-Value as low as 1.3 W/m2K. The multi-chamber profile prevents heat from escaping and Low-E glass reflects heat back into your home, while Argon gas between the window panes, blocks out cold air to eliminate draughts. This helps to keep your home warm, reducing the money you spend heating your home.

Low Maintenance uPVC

Our uPVC flush windows are built to last and are extremely easy to maintain with minimal upkeep needed to keep them at optimum condition. uPVC is a durable material that will never rot, warp, peel or flake and it is super easy to keep clean with a simple wipe down using a soft cloth and soapy water to keep them looking their best.
