Early uPVC doors suffered from a security flaw because the euro locks used could easily be ‘snapped’ to gain access to a property. Improved anti-snap locks solved the issue and modern quality uPVC doors now have locking systems that meet British Security Standards.

Everest uPVC doors are fitted with 3 star cylinders designed with anti-snap, anti-pick, anti-drill and anti-bump protection to keep your door secure.

All Everest uPVC Doors feature Secured by Design accredited Yale 3* lock cylinders which meet British kitemark TS007:2014

The main difference between uPVC and composite doors is in the materials. uPVC doors are constructed solely of uPVC a strong and durable form of plastic. Composite doors, though more expensive, tend to be more popular due to their robust, long-lasting structure.
