At Everest, we like to go further to keep your home secure. That's why we've teamed up with Britain's most trusted lock supplier, Yale, to bring you our most advanced door yet, putting you in full control of who can enter your home, and when. SmartLock is totally keyless and lets you open your door in a variety of different ways, so there are no more hiding spare keys under doormats or plant pots.
Whether you choose uPVC or composite, using the latest technology, SmartLock let's you open your entrance door in a way that suits you, with either a key card, key fob, phone tag or your smartphone via the secure Yale Conexis mobile app.
The option to send mobile keys to family and friends, gives you total control of who you let into your home. You can choose to give access for a few hours, days or even weeks - it's up to you and you can even receive a notification when your loved ones or guests are safely inside.
SmartLock offers all the security you would expect and works perfectly with our multipoint locking system. It has a secure push and turn thumbturn, to prevent would-be intruders from opening the door through the letterbox. And if that wasn't enough, it's also fitted with a loud alarm should they try to break into the lock so you can feel assured it meets the highest security standards.
SmartLock comes fitted with a 2 year guarantee
At Yale, security is taken very seriously. Not only do Yale use proven security as defined by NIST (National Institute of Standards), they also employ leading third-party information security firms to carry out regular security assessments to ensure their products are fully secure.
PAS24 is a method for testing and assessing the enhanced security performace requirements of external doorsets, comprising the door and also the lock. SmartLock (Conexis L1) has achieved this accreditation as part of a full door test.
Based on average usage, the battery life is expected to last for approximately one year. The lock will play an audible tune to warn when the batteries are about to expire.
There is a 9v battery connection port on the external side of the lock which can be used to power the SmartLock to gain entry to your property (using either a virtual key/key tag/key card).
The Conexis L1 app can be downloaded from the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store by searching 'Conexis L1'. You must be a UK or Irish resident to be able to download this app.
Yale offers excellent technical support and help for this product. You can download the technical manual or alternatively visit the Yale help and resource centre.
