Everest project summary
What a great finish Mr G has achieved with the choice of white woodgrain Flush casement windows and doors all matched together to give a perfect cohesive aesthetic to the property. The kitchen provides a tremendous WoW factor and looks fantastic.
Timber windows and doors really can be an asset to a home but as Mr G found out they can be a labour of love that demand maintenance every 10 years or sooner on south facing elevations. However, modern flush windows with a woodgrain finish can do an excellent job in replicating their timeless design.
We love the application of the glazing bar on the kitchen French door side panels. A very small detail but this simple use of a single horizontal glazing bar is becoming very popular with customers looking to recreate a contemporary style known as a Belgian window and which nods to the steel ‘Crittall’ look established in the 1920's.
For Mr G, choosing Everest was about trusting a well-known name, receiving helpful advice, and achieving a clean, modern finish for his home. His upgraded windows and doors have created a beautifully styled home and removed the burden of regular maintenance, exactly the outcome he was hoping for.
