Customer Case Study

Products: WINDOWS, ENTRANCE DOOR, PATIO DOOR

We're proud to say we 'Fit the best', so we endeavour to leave all our customers happy and totally satisfied. In this case study we visited a customer at their home in Lincolnshire to view his stunning self-build property with its host of Everest products.

The Project

Approximately 2 years ago, the customer purchased a plot of land and built the house from new. Due to time constraints, his building contractor was given the added responsibility of ordering the windows and glazing which they did from a local company. The customer was less than happy with the locally supplied results as the windows were poor quality and hadn't been fitted adequately. He decided to cut his losses and have all of the windows replaced with Everest triple glazing this time around to ensure they would stand the test of time. He also opted for tilt and turn windows for the first floor and highly commends them for the functionality of cleaning the outside, whilst inside.

The Design Consultation

The customer decided to call Everest for a quote after doing some research online. The visit from our Everest sales consultant went smoothly and the customer was very pleased with the recommendations our consultant made and the designs he was shown. The kitchen was a particular room that he required advice on, as it experienced reduced light due to the detached garage being directly in front. The consultant talked through the options and they settled on a large full plain window with no bars, to ensure that maximum light was achieved.

Golden Oak Triple Glazed Windows, Entrance Door and Patio Door

The Survey

The survey was straightforward with only a couple of issues relating to incorrect measurements but they were resolved quickly and effortlessly and the installation team were booked to attend the property.

The Installation Process

The build began in 2017 and it took just under a year to complete the installation of all the windows and doors. There were three stages to the fitting, during which time there were a couple of hiccups but the teams were clean and tidy, communicated regularly with the customer and kept him up to date with their progress. In one area, a previously installed patio door was replaced by a newly fitted Everest window. Also, a further Everest window was fitted in the utility room in place of the original front door. Both replacements were measured and fitted without a hitch.
