Customer Case Study

Products: WINDOWS, DOORS

We're proud to say we 'Fit the best', so we endeavour to leave our customers totally satisfied. In this case study a customer and his partner invited us back to see their new aluminium windows, in their mid-terrace property in London.

The Project

The couple realised shortly after moving into their home that replacement windows were going to be on the cards. "The original windows were aluminium, but were really scruffy and don't get me started on the draughts" they laughed. It was a full year before they were ready to explore the costs involved, and having lived in the property a while, they now had more of an idea of what they wanted. "We both agreed we wanted a product that was contemporary in style and would let in a lot of light. My girlfriend was totally set on having aluminium windows again" he explained. In addition, there were two sets of patio doors they wanted to replace, including one with a window instead, so they set about obtaining quotes.

The Design Consultation

Their first choice for a national company was Everest, as they were a name to be trusted. Although the estimate from the local company came in lower, it didn't include the building work required to change a smaller patio door aperture to fit a new double glazed window. After getting separate quotes for building work, it started to add up to more that the Everest quote, which was all inclusive. So, it was an easy decision in the end to choose Everest.

The sales consultant that came out to visit the couple was very matter of fact and really understood what they were trying to achieve in the long term. After measuring up and formalising the quote, they were ready to go ahead with a survey appointment.

The Survey & Installation Process

The survey followed on swiftly and the installation was estimated to take only a few days. The customer confirmed that the installation went without a hitch. "The installers were really polite and tidy throughout the five day build, which really impressed us" he said. "Luckily, the windows and patio doors were installed during July when we were having really hot weather, so it all worked out well".
