Improving homes in Essex for over 50 years

We’re local to you

Here at Everest, we’ve been improving homes in and around Essex since 1965 and this has allowed us to accumulate a great deal of experience in the field.

Our Essex experts are on hand.

Our current team operating in the South is made up of 140 installers and 200 home improvement consultants. They help make up our local service for the area and have completed an impressive 65,000 installations in the last two years alone.

Essex boasts a rich tapestry of culture, scenery and heritage. Spectacular gardens, parks and nature reserves make the region an extremely picturesque area so it’s important to stay true to the local style when improving your property and that’s exactly what our local service aims to do.

When it comes to home improvements, we have something to suit all with an impressive array of options covering everything from conservatories and double-glazed windows to new doors and more.

Meet the team in Essex

Andrew David Cole

Andrew lives in Felsted in Essex, and has customers there and in Great Easton, Braintree, Witham, Great Easton, Chelmsford and Colchester. He joined Everest Home Improvements in 2016 and looks after all of our mainstream products, including roofline (gutters, fascias and soffits), flat roofs, secondary glazing, and all kind of uPVC, aluminium and timber windows and doors. Outside of work he's a keen amateur historian, particularly of the First World War, while his claim to fame is that he once cooked with TV chef Gary Rhodes.

Darren Woods

Darren lives in Tiptree itself, but also looks after all the main cities and towns of the region, including Colchester, Ipswich and Chelmsford. A real Everest veteran, he's been with us for well over 25 years, coming on board in 1991. He handles all of our main products, including roofline (roof trim items such as soffits, fascias and guttering), flat roofs, patios, driveways, artificial grass and alarm systems. Plus, of course, all of our best-selling doors and windows, as well as secondary glazing. His favourite film series is that old favourite, Indiana Jones.

Luke Mudd

Luke's favourite film is the graphic fantasy The Crow, but if it's the reality of beautiful home improvements you want, he could be just the fellow to make an appointment with. He handles all of our main products, including doors, windows, roofline and garage doors, across areas as far apart as Colchester, Southend, Maldon, Chelmsford and Witham. He's been with Everest for around seven years, and is the only person in his family with green eyes, while outside work he loves nothing more than donning his leathers and roaring off on his motorbike.

Michael Fenech

Michael joined Everest in 2004 and lives in the city (as it now is) of Chelmsford. He has many satisfied customers across his region of Essex, including in places such as Brentwood, Rayleigh, Southend and Colchester. He's also a big football fan, although his playing days are largely behind him. Regarding products, Michael is your man for all of our main home improvement lines, including secondary glazing, driveways, alarm systems, artificial grass and our ever-popular uPVC, timber and aluminium doors and windows.

Paul Marshall

When he was a schoolboy, Paul once received a personalised letter form the then Prime Minister Harold Wilson (which he still has), while his favourite film is from a similar era - Midnight Express. Nowadays, he looks after the Tiptree team, covering towns as diverse as Chelmsford, Braintree, Sudbury, Ipswich and Brentwood, with products ranging from roofline and driveways through to uPVC, timber and aluminium windows and doors. He lives in Chelmsford himself and has been with Everest since 2010.

Richard Deane

Hailing from Little Clacton, Richard acts as a consultant in places as far apart (in all kinds of ways) as Frinton-on-Sea, Harwich, Chelmsford, Colchester and Clacton on Sea, where he can tell you all you need to know about a beautiful new conservatory, a new composite or timber door, casement windows or anything else. His favourite film is Memphis Belle and he's been with Everest for around ten years. He's also a whizz at board games, so if you haven't a cluedo what would be best for your home, Richard has the monopoly on all the right options!
