The couple were keen to replace their old flush timber windows that regularly needed repainting with new, low maintenance uPVC windows, but were concerned that they might need planning permission to make such an important aesthetic change to the property. However, Everest's flush casement windows were the perfect solution. The subtle white woodgrain finish of these windows replicated the look and texture of the previous timber windows, so much so that no planning permission was required.
We've actually used other home improvement companies in the past but the quality never quite matched up to Everest.
The Everest consultant was a dual product specialist, who was able to help the couple choose both the windows they required and design their lovely new Orangery.
The couple had seen a photograph of a stunning contemporary Orangery in our brochure and wanted to build something similar. Our sales consultant helped them to create their perfect extension, incorporating the same internal ceiling perimeter with downlighters and the deep decorative cornice, that they liked so much in the brochure. "We love watching the birds in the garden, so this was the perfect opportunity to create a lovely warm, quiet haven to view them from" they said.
"We were amazed by how quickly and efficiently the windows were installed" they said. "The installers were extremely tidy and very friendly, which was perfect, as both the windows and Orangery were installed at the same time." The couple were especially pleased with how well the Orangery framework was built as everything went together like clockwork. There was a small problem with the door but one of the installers returned almost immediately to fix it.

The installers were extremely tidy and very friendly, which was perfect, as both the windows and Orangery were installed at the same time.
"There's a definite improvement in sound reduction, not that we were aiming for that - but it's a big plus. The windows look fantastic, so good in fact, that a neighbour knocked on the door to ask us which company fitted them". The couple also loved their new Orangery, which had given them an extra room where they could enjoy views of the garden all year round.
