Customer Case Study

Mr & Mrs S in Lincolnshire

Products: WINDOWS, DOORS

TrustPilot Rating: 4 star rating

We're proud to say we 'Fit the best', so we endeavour to leave all our customers happy and totally satisfied. In this case study we met our customers at their chalet style home, in the small village of Welton near Lincoln.

The Project

The customers told us that they first started thinking about replacing their windows and doors about three years ago. The back of the house receives a lot of direct sunlight and this made the downstairs rooms extremely hot in the summer months. The couple had seen a few of Everest’s TV advertisements where we claimed to Fit the Best and admitted that watching these had first sparked their interest in our products.

On the whole, we have noticed that the living room in particular where we spend a lot of time is a more comfortable temperature.

The Design Consultation

With regards to the sales consultation, the consultant was knowledgeable and presented all of the variations available to them in a friendly and relaxed manner. He helped them to choose the colour of the windows as they preferred the style to remain similar to the existing windows. The couple explained "At first we were set on ordering the new windows in Anthracite Grey, but we were worried this colour might date the property over time. After discussing our concerns, we settled on the much softer Olive Grey which was totally the right choice".

Installed Products

Everest uPVC windows, composite entrance door, uPVC French doors and aluminium bi-fold doors.

The Survey & Installation Process

When it came to the installation, the couple decided to complete it in two parts and concentrated on the front of the house first. The initial installation was not exactly straightforward and there were a few problems which were resolved to their satisfaction.

The second installation followed on shortly after and this was much less problematic. The project manager couldn’t have been more helpful, and the fitters arrived on time and were professional and tidy throughout the build. "We only had to contact the installation manager a couple of times but on each occasion, he resolved our queries quickly and efficiently" added the couple.

We're not on a particularly busy road but we do get a bit of 'through' traffic, so it can be a little noisy. The triple glazing has definitely gone a long way to improve this and you can hardly hear any road noise now.

Project Summary

Aside from the obvious aesthetic improvement to their home, the couple were really pleased with all of the products we installed and were extremely impressed with the quality.
