Everest Window Benefits

Our windows offer the following benefits

  • Warmer

    Our windows are warmer

At Everest, we are constantly striving to improve our windows through the latest advances in cutting edge technology and design, which help ensure that we always fit the best! By doing so, we push the boundaries when it comes to windows, which is why we can now offer our warmest windows ever for 2015!

    NEW 5 chamber profile

We have increased the number of chambers in the profile of our Exclusives uPVC casement windows from 3 to 5. By having more chambers, the frame of the window has even more barriers to help prevent heat from escaping.

It’s not just the increased number of chambers in the profile of our uPVC casement windows that helps make these our Warmest Windows Ever. Our windows also include:

    Low E Glass

Every Everest window has been designed to make sure that heat stays inside your home where it belongs. That’s because we’ve included a pane with specially coated low-e glass as standard that reflects the existing heat back into your home, creating a warm space with maximum heat retention.

Sealed units filled with argon gas

We also leave an argon filled gap between the panes of the sealed unit in many of our windows. As argon has a higher density than air, it is extremely effective in reducing heat loss.

    Seals and spacers

As well as featuring draught-resistant-seals, all of our windows are fitted with a high tech spacer coated in resin compound, creating yet another barrier to help minimise heat lost through conduction.

    NEW WER Rating

All of these special features help give our Exclusives uPVC casement windows an energy efficiency rating of A++ for triple glazing and A+ 15 for double glazing, making them our Warmest Windows Ever and allowing you to make significant savings on your heating bills every year.

And when you compare Everest Exclusives uPVC Casement Windows to the competition, you can see exactly why we are so excited about our Warmest Windows Ever.

  • Quieter

    Our windows are quieter

We understand there’s nothing quite like a little peace and quiet to help you relax, so every Everest Window has been designed to keep your home as free from unwanted noise as possible.

Secondary glazing is the perfect solution for reducing noise pollution in properties where the windows themselves cannot be replaced.

But at Everest we go even further to help you enjoy a more peaceful environment. All of our windows, including our timber casement and sash windows, have an Argon filled gap and draught-resistant seals which helps to keep any outside noise out.

Our uPVC casement, tilt and turn and sash windows also feature a unique multi-chamber profile which helps reduce the penetration of outside noise.

And if all these features still don’t create the desired effect, there is also the option of the Everest sound reduction sealed unit for most of our styles, which has double the glass thickness of a standard sealed unit and is designed to cut outside noise by up to a staggering 36 decibels.

  • More secure

    Our windows are more secure

Making sure you and your family feel totally safe in your home is one of our biggest priorities. That’s why we’ve taken great care to incorporate the most robust security measures.

To begin with, many of our windows come with a multi-point stainless steel locking system that’s secured into galvanised steel reinforcement for added rigidity and security.

For your utmost peace of mind, most of our windows not only meet British Security Standards but actually exceed them. In fact, our most popular uPVC casement window is twice as secure as the standard for security and uses hinge side security brackets for added protection.

Our timber casement windows are also 50% more secure than the British Standard for security, while our Timber Sash models have internal security bolts and our dual turn windows all have key locking handles.

All Everest windows are also securely beaded to prevent removal of the glass from the outside. Many of them also allow for a night vent position which allows air to circulate while the window remains locked, keeping you and your possession out the reach of intruders.

  • Virtually maintenance free

Our windows are virtually maintenance free

When you choose Everest Windows, you’re not only making the best choice for quality and style, but also for how easy they are to look after.

All Everest windows are designed to remain as smart and attractive as they were the day we installed them thanks to our easy to clean, virtually-maintenance-free styles.

Our uPVC and aluminium frames never flake, rot, peel or rust, so they don’t require painting or sanding. An occasional wipe-down with soap and water is all they need to keep them looking as good as new.

Our white uPVC casement, cottage and tilt and turns windows even come with a lifetime guarantee against discolouration. And our aluminium windows boast a 25-year guarantee against discolouration on the aluminium profile.

Even our beautiful timber casement, sash and dual turn windows are easy to clean and require minimal maintenance. They come with a host of guarantees too, such as 30 years against rot and fungus, a 10-year comprehensive guarantee on the whole window and a 5-year guarantee for paint and stain finishes.

  • Energy efficient

    Our windows are energy efficient

Fitting your home with Everest windows can help you make significant savings on your energy bills.

Because all our windows are designed and manufactured to keep your home warmer and cosier, as well as insulate it against outside noise.

Windows that achieve an A rating could save you as much as £450 a year on your energy bills, and using less fuel could also help you reduce your carbon footprint. In fact, if you choose our triple-glazed option you could improve energy efficiency by as much as 35% compared to double glazing. See below how our windows help minimise draughts, helping reduce your energy bills.

Some windows described as A-rated achieve the minimum standard - not letting out any more energy than they keep in. This is known as an A0 rating - the 0 is the energy index and refers to the amount of energy passing through a window each year.

However we have gone above and beyond an A-rating to achieve an amazing A+ rating for Everest uPVC casement windows - a brand new category for the most energy efficient windows. This means that with the help of something known as solar gain, our windows allow more energy in to a property than they lose. In other words the windows themselves help heat your home.
