Meet the team in Cumbria

Alistair spent many years working as an engineer but found his true metier after joining Everest in 1999. With his wealth of knowledge, he??s well qualified to talk about all our best-known lines, including secondary glazing, driveways, garage doors, plus our ever-popular uPVC doors, and aluminium and timber windows. He lives in Eyemouth, but travels far and wide to help his customers, from Edinburgh and Berwick-upon Tweed, to Chirnside, Dunbar and Kelso. When he??s not imparting wisdom to troubled homeowners, Alistair enjoys photography, music and keeping fit.

Our Cumbria territory covers one of the loveliest areas of Britain, and extends from the Scottish borders up as far as Edinburgh. Its here that youll find Brian, and hes been promoting our products since 1986 in places such as Berwick-upon-Tweed, Haddington, Denholm and his own home town of Selkirk. His long experience makes him ideal for handling any of our products, and hes just as knowledgeable about any of our windows and doors as he is about conservatories or driveways. Outside of work, he volunteers for the British Red Cross.

John joined Everest in 2012, and his territory includes Carlisle, plus Lancaster, Barnard Castle, Ulverston and Kendal. Hes just as happy talking about windows and doors as roofline, driveways, flat roofs, garage doors, porches and our artificial turf, Greener Grass. For 55 years, he used to wear glasses, but following cataract operations says he now only needs them for reading! His favourite book/film is the Lord of the Rings and hes also a horse racing fan, so if youre looking for tips on the gee-gees as well as home improvements, he could be your man.

Lloyd used to be a semi-professional hockey player, which explains why his favourite film in the 1970s comedy Slap Shot, centring around a fading ice hockey team. Since 1980, hes been responsible for all key products in places such as Keswick, Morecambe, Ambleside and Carlisle. Much of his territory covers the Lake District, which the authorities aim to keep as an area of beauty by detailing whats allowed when it comes to home improvements. Fortunately, Lloyds experience means he knows exactly the right product, materials and approach to suggest, every time.

Robert joined the Everest salesforce in 2018. From his base in Carlisle, he??s perfectly placed to manage the pretty counties of Cumbria and Lancashire. Robert prides himself on his in-depth knowledge of our windows, doors and roofline products, and has an impressive portfolio of delighted homeowners in Silloth, Carnsforth, Aspatria and Lancaster, who??ve reaped the benefits of his advice. When he??s not selling bay windows, garage doors and guttering, Robert can be found on the football pitch, indulging in his other passion.

Shanes territory is one of the most beautiful in the country, encompassing Windermere, Silverdale, Penrith, Kendal and Appleby. In that part of the world, much of it is national park or conservation areas so there are regulations when it comes to home improvements. Fortunately, Shane knows his stuff and will make sure what you opt for gets approval. Secondary glazing, for example, can be ideal. Shane was a builder before he joined us, so hes excellent on construction advice. He likes watching his kids play football and dance competitions.
