Meet the team in Tayforth

Andrew Williamson

Another of our long-standing consultants, Andy joined Everest in 1985 and specialises in our core products such as windows, doors, roof trim and flat roofs. He has many customers in Dunfermline, Dalgety Bay, Cupar, St Andrews and Anstruther. Outside of work he follows Dunfermline Athletic and plays golf. That's much more relaxing than what he once did, which was cycle racing at the Highland Games around Scotland and 140 miles around Fife for an Everest-sponsored charity. His favourite film is The Shawshank Redemption.

Jim Flood

Jim's qualified to handle all of our products, including conservatories, alarm systems, driveways and flat roofs, as well as our latest doors and windows. He's been with Everest for getting on for 20 years, and has plenty of satisfied customers in his home city of Perth, not to mention Forfar, Dundee, Blairgowrie and Stirling, plus all areas in-between. That's a lot of driving, of course, and he likes nothing better than listening to anything by Johnny Cash. Jim also once managed his country at a world championship in the sport of Dog Agility.

Mohsen Abed

Originally from Iran, Mo has been with Everest since 1986, covering Edinburgh and all nearby villages and towns such as Linlithgow, Balerno, South Queensferry, Longniddry and Gullane. He specialises in both conservatories and all our core products, and has many customers who have become friends over the 30 years he's been with us. He enjoys history, sport and current affairs, as well as walking the family dog “The Boss Brodie”. He (Mo that is) also loves cooking, especially dishes from his native country.

Michael James Ryan

Michael has been with us for over 10 years. His easy-going but professional approach means he's popular with customers, selling windows, doors and all of our core products like roofline, flat roofs and driveways across Montrose, St Andrews, Dundee, Arbroath, Carnoustie and surrounding areas. A keen reader and a good listener, Michael's favourite film is Blade Runner. However, he's obviously hoping there's a brighter future for all of us than portrayed in that dystopian movie - he's also involved in local politics.

Martin Phillips

A real Everest star, Martin has been on our books since 1986. As well as being a consultant for us, he also has a small farm, so he completely appreciates what kind of advanced windows, doors, roof trim and other products you need to keep the Scottish weather at bay. He can often be found anywhere from Kirriemuir or Monifieth, Arbroath or Broughty Ferry, chalking up countless miles as he goes to see new customers, although some are also closer to his home in Forfar. A definite softie at heart, Martin's favourite film is Shadowlands.

Paul Gavan

From his home in Pitlochry, Paul covers all of the Tayforth area, including Aberfeldy, Perth, Stirling and Falkirk, He used to be in the hotel industry, but he's been with at Everest for over 20 years now. He sells many flat roofs and windows of all kinds, including timber, uPVC and composite, in styles from casement to sash, tilt & turn and bi-fold. When relaxing, he likes to play poker, while his favourite film dates back to 1958 - an underwater thriller starring Glenn Ford and Ernest Borgnine called Torpedo Run.

Tommy Murray

A life-long Edinburgh resident, Tommy knows all there is to know about windows for different styles of houses there, including traditional timber options in conservation areas. He's also expert on front doors, roof products like gutters and fascias, and porches. He's helped customers in Scotland as far afield as Gullane, North Berwick, Longniddry and Port Seaton. Tommy's favourite song is He Aint Heavy He's My Brother by the Hollies, and as a self-taught guitarist he played the first song at his son's wedding. Ahhh…

William Frearson

Glasgow may be his home town, but William for the most part has customers in Edinburgh, Dundee, Blairgowrie, Perth and Auchterarder. For everything from new conservatories or replacement roofs to roofline, he's your man, but he's just as good with Everest windows and doors as well. William used to be an RFU referee, but there's a soft side to him too - he provides a home for rescue greyhounds. His favourite film is Casablanca, so why not ask him to quote? It could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship!
