Meet the team in South Yorkshire

Andrew Ardron

Andrew joined Everest way back in 1990, so there's not an Everest product he doesn't know inside out, whether it's a stable door or a traditional timber one, a uPVC window or aluminium one, a replacement conservatory roof or a brand new whole conservatory. His knowledge is encyclopaedic, and his main areas include Sheffield, Doncaster, Barnsley, Doncaster, Chesterfield and Goole. His favourite film in The Wolf of Wall Street and he also loves his fishing. Plus - a useful skill this - he's adept at sign language.

David Ash

David's claim to fame is that he once managed a convent! It was actually a government office in Gibraltar of all places, and the nuns were long gone. Nowadays he's to be found in towns and cities like Doncaster, Scunthorpe, Chesterfield, Lincoln and Sheffield. His favourite film is Apollo 13 and he joined us in 2013 - so maybe 13 is his lucky number! He's also to be found all over the Peak District, demonstrating the benefits of all Everest products, including driveways, garage doors, flat roofs and conservatories.

John Henry Fowler

John's favourite film is The Green Mile and one of his claims to fame is that he's been in a jet fighter, but when it comes to our products, he's as open, factual and down-to-earth as they come. He could be just the right person to talk to if you're in the market for a brand new front door or some casement or sash windows, as well as any of our other popular choices, including roof trim, paving and conservatories. He lives in Retford, but also covers Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Grimsby, Mansfield, Scunthorpe and all of the East Midlands.

Phil Johnson

Hailing from Retford, Phil has many happy customers there and in Lincoln, Doncaster, Gainsborough, Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Sleaford. It's not surprising, given that he's been with Everest since 1991, and has always worked in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. Mind you, he tells us that he also spent eight years managing a cattle ranch - we're not sure how many of those there are in Lincs and Notts, but perhaps he meant Texas or Argentina! He looks after windows, doors, flat roofs and all the rest of our core products as well.

Michael Shirley

Michael is one of our top consultants. His patch is wide-ranging, covering Sheffield, Lincoln, Nottingham, Chesterfield and Rotherham, and he has many happy customers who are now the proud owners of Everest conservatories, doors, flat roofs, windows and much else besides. He's also into fitness training, while his favourite song is Adele's Someone Like You. So if you live in one of those cities and you're in the market for some home improvements, someone like you could be perfect for someone like him!

Richard Braithwait

As well as being the fount of all knowledge when it comes to Everest, having been with us for over 25 years, Richard is also a pastoral minister who, not surprisingly, cites the Bible as his best-loved book. Living in Sheffield, he has many happy customers there and in Rotherham, Barnsley, Chesterfield and across rural Derbyshire. The Peak District is of course subject to strict conservation regulations, and Richard knows just what's permitted and what will look best on all properties, whether listed, traditional or modern. He's also a keen photographer.

Chris Robertson

Coming from the village of New Marske in ‘God's own county', Christopher looks after cities and towns such as Middlesbrough, York, Bridlington, Stockton and Scarborough. This is brass band country, and Christopher just happens to be chairman of his local ensemble. But he's just as happy blowing Everest's trumpet, for advanced products such as our uPVC, timber and aluminium windows and doors, as well as driveways, alarm systems and roofline. His favourite film is the thriller A Few Good Men, and he's been one of our many good men since 2009.

David L Taylor

An ex-army veteran standing 6 foot 8 inches tall and whose favourite film is Saving Private Ryan, Dave is definitely a man of action. Whether you want doors or windows of timber, uPVC or aluminium, roof trim, flat roofs, driveways or anything else, Dave will do his darnedest to make sure you get exactly what's right for you. He's been with us for well over 10 years now, covering his beloved Yorkshire and beyond, especially his home city of Middlesbrough, as well as Stockton, Darlington, Whitby, York and Beverly, plus plenty of other places besides.

Gary Durant

Another Middlesbrough native, Gary is the man if you have your eye on a casement, sash, tilt & turn or dual turn window, or any of our entrance, bi-fold, patio, French or stable doors. He's often to be found selling these and our other products such as security systems, driveways, artificial grass and secondary glazing in places such as Redcar, Guisborough, Saltburn, Yarm, Marton and Nunthorpe, as well as some of the bigger towns and cities in this area of Britain. He's been an Everest stalwart since 1999, while his favourite film is 90s classic The Bodyguard.

Glen George Johnson

The famous explorer Captain Cook came from Glen's home town of Great Ayton, but his preferences lie a bit closer to home, watching football, playing golf and going fishing. Mind you, he does venture as far as Malton, York, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Stockton, which is where many of his customers are based. As well as our core items, he specialises in products as diverse as driveways, flat roofs, alarm systems and secondary glazing. His favourite film is Stand By Me and he once worked as a security guard for the Britain's Got Talent auditions.

Martin James Tunnicliffe

Father of four children and owner of three cats, Martin is not short of responsibilities. He's also highly responsible and conscientious when it comes to Everest, and will do his utmost to ensure you benefit from exactly the right product, whether it's flat roofs, roof trim like guttering and fascias, garage doors, or our ever-popular windows and doors. He's been with Everest since 2013 and lives in York. His customers come from all over the region, including Selby, Hull, Beverley and Pocklington. Martin's favourite film is Leon.

Mark Little

In his previous career, Mark was an EOD engineer - someone who deals with unexploded bombs and other dangerous devices. So there's not much that can faze him, and you also know that he's going to be 100% trustworthy and open when it comes to helping you decide which home improvement products would suit your place the best. He lives in Middlesbrough, and is responsible for all of our core lines. These include entrance, bi-fold, patio, stable and French doors, plus dual-turn, sash and casement windows, plus flat roofs, roof trim and so forth.

Peter Attwell

Peter first joined Everest in 1999. He lives in London and in his time has worked all over the country, but now concentrates on the South-East in places like Crawley, East Grinstead and Crowborough. His favourite film goes back a long way - it's a classic British comedy from 1960 called School for Scoundrels. Peter is certainly ‘old school' when it comes to our home improvements, and will always do his utmost to ensure that you choose only what's best for you, be it windows, doors, roof trim, driveways, alarm systems or flat roofs.

Paul Connolly

Paul lists his main hobby as keeping his three kids in check, and although that sounds like a full-time job in itself, he's also worked long hours for us since 2012, telling customers about our core products such as timber, aluminium and uPVC doors and windows. Paul lives in Darlington, and his customers are right across North Yorkshire and beyond, in towns such as Hartlepool, Darlington, Wolsingham, Richmond and Stockton. One of his claims to fame is that he once had dinner with the late England manager Sir Bobby Robson.

Richie Austin

A Darlington man who loves the North-East, we're lucky to have Richie work for us. Really lucky, as he broke his neck 14 years ago. But fortunately he pulled through and now sells all of our core products like windows, roofline and doors, as well as conservatories, in towns such as Thirsk, Newton Aycliffe, Bishop Auckland, Wolsingham and also Middlesbrough, home to his beloved Middlesbrough FC. Richie has been with us since 2008 and says his favourite film is Aliens - one of the few movies where the sequel actually surpasses the original.

Stewart Mccrae

Stewart has been with Everest for 30 years, and what he doesn't know about our products simply isn't worth knowing. He can identify just the right entrance, patio or bi-fold door for you as well as the best material (composite, timber, aluminium or uPVC) and the same goes for our sash, dual turn, tilt & turn and casement windows. His customers are likely to be from anywhere in the region, including his home town of Middlesbrough, as well as Darlington, York, Stockton and Whitby. Outside of work Stewart is a keen ballroom dancer.

Wayne Campbell

Wayne joined Everest in 2008, and we're very lucky to have him. Not just because he's very good at what he does, but because he once nearly died in a motorcycle accident. He was also told that he would never walk again, but proved the doctors wrong, so much so that these days he enjoys not just walking but horse riding. He lives in Selby and his customers are here and in places like York, Beverley, North Ferriby and Hull. As well as windows, doors and driveways, he can also tell you about our conservatories.
